Anand Karki, a popular name in Nepali music industry, is the most leading singer of Nepal. Born in Solukhumbu district, a beautiful place in Nepal, he was the one who started a trend with Ghazals in Nepal. He has sung in over 4000 plus songs in different language such as Hindi, Newari, Nepali, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Maithili and Choudhary. He is also one of the first Nepalese singers who sang in the Korean Language.
He has sung everywhere from the famed Albert Hall in London which every singer's dream to play in: Denmark, Bangkok, Singapore, HongKong, Malaysia, China, Pakistan and all over India. Mr Karki has been awarded dozens of national and international honours from the late King and Queen of Nepal and from the prestigious Birendra Aishwarya Padak, Gorkha Dakshin, Zee TV Close-up' Sa Re Ga Ma (London) in 1999 for the best singer, Chhinnalata award for vocal, Kollywood award for best singer in the film Bharia 1997 and Parai Ghar 1999, KTV award for the best playback singer and so on. He has devoted 33 years of his life in the music industry and is one of the busiest artists in Nepal. His contribution to the Nepali music industry has been outstanding.

Pushkar Shah is a Nepalese peace and democracy activist and adventurer who has travelled 150 countries in a cycle (221000km) and climbed Mt. Everest. On November 29, 1998, he set off from Dolakha Town, Nepal at the age of 25, for a world bicycle trek. With only a bicycle, 60 kg of essentials and a 100 Nepali Rupees from his mother, he started his journey in November 1998 from a small village in Dolakha, aiming to circumnavigate the world. He has cycled around 150 different countries. He carried with his messages of peace from Nepal and collected national flags from whichever country he travelled to. On 7 April 2010, he attempted climbing Mount Everest with his collection of flags from around the world. He successfully topped on 17 May 2010.

Nir Shah, is a Nepalese movie actor, a poet, lyricist & movie director. He has also directed several Nepali movies produced by himself including Basudev, Pachchis Basanta, Basanti, and a Nepal Bhasa movie Rajamati. He is also a co-producer of the Oscar-nominated film Himalaya which was co-produced and directed by the French movie maker Eric Valli. The film, also released as Caravan (in Canada) and Himalaya (in Denmark and France), was the first film from Nepal to win an Oscar nomination. Nir Shah has also penned down many Nepali songs. He has also done the scriptwriting for a few of his films. In 2001, he served on the jury of Film South Asia '01, the festival of South Asian documentaries, along with Firdous Azim and Shyam Benegal.

Mira Rai is a Nepalese trail runner and sky runner. She has participated in many international competitions and has won numerous awards. She was the winner of 2017 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. Born into poverty in the remote Himalayan foothills of Bhojpar in Nepal, Mira had an unusual start to life for a now internationally recognised ultrarunner. With her family struggling financially due to the Nepalese Civil War, at the age of 15, Mira decided to join the Communist Party insurgents as a child soldier, in order to support her family, and escape traditionalist barriers surrounding the role of women in Nepali society.
It was during her time training as a child soldier that she found her passion for running – a passion that saw her go on to not only become one of the world's best female ultrarunners, but become a symbol of hope for Nepal.

A multitalented personality, Ashesh Malla (born 1954 in Dhankuta, Nepal) is a playwright, theatre director, Co-founder and Artistic Director of Sarwanam Theatre Group. An Associate Professor of Nepali Literature in Tribhuwan University, Nepal, he has won many prestigious awards like Sajha Purashkar, Musyachu Puraskar, Moti Award for his contribution in the field of Nepali theatre and art. He is the pioneer of street theatre in Nepal. He also served the Nepal Academy and headed the theatre department for five years. He also worked as a Board of Member of Nepal Television in the early ’90s. He is an honorary life member of Nepal Academy.
He has published more than 25 books, including books of plays, poetry and fiction. His recent publication is a book on street theatre, Sadak Natak: Siddhantha, Srijana ra Prastuti (Street Theatre: Theory, Creation and Presentation). All the plays of Sarwanam are written and directed by Mr Ashesh Malla.

Dev Rana is better known as a legendary drummer for one of Nepal’s first-ever official rock ‘n’ roll band. He has been playing the drums for forty-five years. At an early age, Rana was influenced by Western music. He was born in Malaysia and went to the British School where he had classmates from all over the world where he developed a taste for music.
During the ’70s his life revolved around music and hanging out with friends. When the Prism band was formed, their gigs turned into professional performances where they were paid to play at different locations and gained popularity among the public. Some of his greatest musical influences include Ringo Starr, Mitch Mitchell and Dave Weckel. Today Rana says that his biggest achievement in life has been the fact that he has been able to do what he loves … and to be able to still do it!

Born on 18 January 1996, Anushka Shrestha is a Nepalese beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Nepal 2019 on 9 May 2019. She was crowned by her predecessor Shrinkhala Khatiwada. She also won the title of “Beauty With A Purpose” in Miss World, 2019. In the beauty pageant held in London, England, Shrestha was chosen as one of the twelve semi-finalists.
She also won the title of Miss Yamaha Fascino 2019 along with another title Miss Intellect 2019. Anushka graduated from the Australian Catholic University in Sydney with the Executive Dean’s Commendation in 2017.
She had worked within the International Education sector in Sydney as a Finance Officer as well before competing in Miss World Nepal.
