Numerous different skills and attributes must come together to make a good rapper. The most important attribute is to look both for the big "punch" lines and the underlying message of songs. A good rapper must display a sense of rhythm and an ability to compliment the beat in unpredictable and exciting ways. One such rapper is our own Kiran Shrestha," widely known as Mistah K . He is the founder band member of the famous Nepalese hip-hop band Da Nepsydaz and is regarded as one of his generation's most skilful and successful hip hop artists. He embarked on his musical career as a teenager. He started recording his original tracks in 2002 with Manas Ghale and Saurav Subba, which garnered much local attention and led him to work for Times FM with a hip-hop show titled "Hip-hop Basement". He also started performing and creating music with his band Nepsydaz. Since then, there is no looking back, and he has been entertaining us with his enticing songs and music creation. live on

Nine years of Raj’s expertise is with Councils in Auckland. Within Auckland Council, Raj held the roles of Senior Consents Planner and Policy Planner.

As Policy Planner, Raj has extensive experience in the plan-making and plan change process under the Resource Management Act (RMA). On behalf of the Auckland Council, Raj provided expert planning advice to prepare the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan (PAUP). His Unitary Plan experience involved managing the RMA process for the proposed re-zoning and precincts. Raj authored expert planning evidence and presented it to the PAUP Independent Hearings Panel. live on

The 70s was considered a golden era in the Nepali music industry and were incredibly diverse, both in sound and content. Over time, we witnessed the finest musician/influential Saxophone player's birth, Shubha Bahadur Sunam(Retd Brigdiar General - Nepal Army), whose music and songs have inspired, influenced and enchanted generations of music lovers. His continued dedication, devotion and contribution have helped the Nepali music industry grow, mature and prosper.

He recorded his first composition when he was merely 20. For the last 50 plus years, Subha Bahadur has served the Nepali music industry wearing multiple hats. He had teamed up with renowned composer Shambhujeet Baskota to compose Nepali films' songs, calling themselves "Subha-Sambhu". Subha-Sambhu's first notable hit was 'Ko Ho Tyo, Jasley Malai' from the movie 'Ke Ghar, Ke Der. He has also composed music for several TV series and films. For his devotion and contribution to Nepali music, he has been honoured with Su Prabal Gorkha Dakshin Bahu and Chinnalata Puraskar. Environmentalists have had a big impact on our lives & have always been about unity and action in service to a greater cause. Needless to say that environmental movement wouldn’t be where is it today without the influence of conservation activists that lead and inspire. One such powerful voice who has sounded the alarm, sparked movements, planted trees, nurtured wildlife, conserved land, educated us about climate change, and above all, dedicated his life to making the world a better place is our own notable, dedicated environmentalist Tirtha Bahadur Shrestha.

He is a lifelong member of Nepal Pragya Pratisthan. He has worked as a Praagya for three terms from 2036 to 2047 B.S. King Birendra invited him as a Karnali expert during his visit to the Midwestern region. He was also affiliated with International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) for Nature conservation in Makalu Barun Region. He had also been awarded Jagadamba Shree Puraskar for using the Nepali language and literature to popularise science.

Tirtha Bahadur Shrestha is also an author whose writing has increased public awareness of the ecological importance of the planet. He has also been instrumental in raising awareness of the importance of forest conservation and its contribution to the country's economic development.
