In this episode I discuss the generational healing that occurred between me and my daughter. For the first 4 years of her life, we really struggled to connect with one another. Not just verbally, but energy wise. Hannah went through a serious phase of biting and struggled with speaking for her age. She bit because she was not able to defend herself properly.

 

I reflect on this now because I passed on generational wounds to my daughter. I did not really know my voice, how to love myself, I struggled with trusting myself, and I did not know how to effectively communicate with anyone.

 

I began doing spiritual work, inner work, shadow work, all to discover my authenticity. I did the work and listen to find out what happened.

Addiction is everywhere but depression rates have skyrocketed. And it got me thinking about depression and medications. The broken systems of education, medical etc. It’s all suffering. But yet we stay in it.

Prescriptions are real quick to be given for depression, and yes warranted. But what’s the plan to get them back to reality, to get them living in a life of happiness.

Is it medication and just see yah later?

Were we given proper education for better options? Uhhhh….no.

It really makes me upset. So many people are living in suffering, being constantly fed medication, without a game plan to evolve out of it. It’s like depression is expected now.
