In today's passage Jesus continues his sermon about the law. To follow the law we need grace, and that is what the Pharisee's are lacking.

The beatitudes are great teaching of Jesus that I encourage everyone to study. Today's passage concludes what is known as the beatitudes, and gives encouragement for the persecuted.
