The act of worship is deeply spiritual so how can we claim that it effects the physical reality we are surrounded by?

Does worship have the power to tear down strongholds? Does the Bible teach this?

Are we, as worship leaders, responsible to carry out the great Commission

from Matthew 28:18-19?

Are choirs biblical? If so, are they important for the church today?

The worship choir is the means by which the enemies of God hear the joyful expression of God’s people even from afar off. They are our proclamation of victory!

Can rehearsal be an act of spiritual worship?

There’s an amazing passage in the old testament that has really unlocked the value of setting time apart to make sure I am set apart; both in the physical and the spiritual. Part of that is coming ready, filling our vessel so that God can pour out in fullness unhindered by our lack of readiness!

Are tongues for today?

Are they valuable for our worship cultures?

Does there need to be an interpreter present?

Is this the greatest of all these gifts?

The Church is the family of families from every tribe, nation and tongue, standing together on the declaration that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God; tasked with making it on earth as it is in heaven.

This realizes an eternal perspective and purpose for our worship!

We are part of a movement, a body of believers throughout history with a mission to see the earth radically and tangibly change!

An understanding of the mission and purpose of our church can be fuel for the worship leader and the worship experience!

The Holy Spirit is not only an object of our worship but also a participant!

Having a clear grasp of the Jesus of the Bible is step one in spirit and truth worship.

There are a lot of counterfeit jesus’ out there today, which can direct our worship to self medication or exaltation of self. Let’s unpack some of the key passages in the Bible that inform our understanding of the True Jesus!
