All this week we’ve been looking at the personhood of the unborn. And we’ve seen that, since life begins at fertilization, taking the life of a baby at any stage of development—it’s murder. And God’s Word is clear that murder is a sin against our neighbor and against the God who created that person.
So what if you’ve had an abortion or discarded your embryos during a fertility treatment? Is there hope for someone who has ended an innocent human life? Yes! There is hope for all because Jesus came and paid for our sin—every one of your sins—on the cross when he died. And he freely offers forgiveness to all who will come to him!
