When Russ Devens helped create the Safety Leadership Summit, he and other organizers agreed on one big principle: “There’s no competition in safety.” And that has guided them through four summits and many hours of conversations. Devens, the director of safety and risk management at McCarthy Tire Service, has helped bring together dozens of safety leaders from some of the largest tire dealerships in the country to help create and share best practices.
