Our heavenly Father is the great giver of justice. He not only redeems, but He also restores. When we suffer loss in this world at the hands of our enemies, let us remember that it is for God to bring the restoration we feel is just.

Today, I ask that you pray for a part of the Church body in need of God's direction.  Your brothers and sisters need your prayerful support in seeking God to sustain them through the mysteries of the season to come.

When God allows a single trial to come our way, we may see this Christian walk as quite manageable.  When those times combine and build on one another, life can seem impossible. But those are the times when we can learn most as we must rely more on God for success.

This life can turn on a dime. Don't ask me about my five-year plan; who knows what tomorrow will bring? People say the only constant in life is change, which is almost true. What is more true is that God is constant as well. That is what gives us our stability.

We follow and serve a king, a prince, whose throne sits at the pinnacle of power and authority. And yet, He lived as a man no less ordinary than you and I for very clear reasons. Let us explore the holy need for the plainness of Christ the man.

When the heart has been breached, damage left untreated will grow. What begins as a small and treatable wound can consume us if we are not careful. Let us decide today to take our pain to the Father and start the healing process.

Oh, what fools these mortals be when they try to run from God. Even more foolish is the desire to find a shadow so dense that it hides us from the Father. Let us stop trying to find that shadow because it is no place we would desire to enter anyway.

Let us take some time to consider what makes a better tomorrow. The worldly view looks to the external to determine whether one day is better than another. Perhaps we should look internally instead.

It is one thing to encounter vicious adversaries in the world.  It is another thing entirely to encounter them within the Church.  Let us ask for increased discernment and wisdom so that we are not deceived or misled by the lions roaming right beside us.

There are many spiritual benefits to waiting on God. If we can ignore our humanness for  a moment and focus on allowing patience to develop us spiritually, the waiting we normally dread just might bring us some excitement instead.
