Confessing our sins to one another is a command we find more than once in scripture. It is not mere guidance or advice but is a call for us to act as the body we are. No one takes this walk on his or her own. If we want this Church to accomplish what God has available for it, we must take this command seriously and chase after the powerful fruit that comes as a result.
We are all works in progress. From the moment of justification, we have been changed daily. Sometimes we don't acknowledge the changes, but God knows the work that has been done and that continues in us. On this resurrection day, let us consider and meditate on the ways in which God has transformed us since the moment that love broke through in our lives.

Survey the world, and you will see one clear thing: the walls are up. People have all kinds of reasons why they will not let God in. They are the same reasons why people will not let others in for the purpose of sharing God with them. Learning how to handle these encounters and break through those walls will go a long way toward our saving some from the fire.
In order to properly defeat fear, we first must know what it is. Neither simply an emotion nor a figment of our imagination, it is a much more real thing that we can engage in battle successfully. Instead of turning from fear when it rears its ugly head, perhaps we would be better served if we approach it head-on and exhibit God's power in battle.
Life can shock us often. At the moment, we all are facing something new and trying to figure out how to get through it. Even though we might have been caught off guard, God was not. Let us press in and trust that He has this under control. He knows what we are going through right now, and that should bring us comfort and peace in the midst of this trial.
We have new concerns today that did not exist only a few months ago. While these concerns are real and urgent, we must remember that they are mere circumstances. As we navigate these changing waters, let us remember to habitually exercise our faith and reject the temptation to exercise fear instead.
Great signs and wonders are amazing, and we should be open to every big move of God. Sometimes, however, his great works are a culmination of smaller steps that can escape our attention if we are not watching and waiting. Let us remember to appreciate every small thing God does because we do not know when all those little grains will one day come together as something much greater.
We know that our Father in the heaven is the great redeemer and the great restorer. It is his healing power that all creation seeks for its freedom from the bonds of sin. We cannot forget, however, that He desires to partner with us in this healing process. Let us seek God for our role in the healing of others and pray that we are faithful to respond.

God has trusted us with being stewards of great valuable resources. It is our choice where we store those treasures. Sometimes it may seem like we do not have much, but God will honor even the tiny treasures we store in his kingdom, and He will make them great.
