As far as scandals go, the one brewing over at The Whittaker group is by far the most interesting as James Whitner has been named in a $32 Million Reselling Allegation. While he is currently not the person under arrest his brands Social Status and A Ma Maniere have been roped into this allegation as a supposed vehicle for money laundering. It will be interesting to see how this case develops and if any of their partners/supporters react to this.

Joe Freshgood's may have come through with a 90th minute screamer of an entry for shoe of the year with the 1998 Pack inspired by the movie 'Belly' which came out in 1998. And Iconix have just acquired a majority stake in Hoodrich founded by Birmingham based Jay Williams in a reported '8-9 figure deal'. Bolu, Eman and Michael also give their opinion on the recently released New Balance x Patta 991 v2's and if there was a head to head between JFG's 1998 x New Balance pack and Samuel Ross's ACW x Nike TN's who would win?

As the iconic athleisure silhouette has developed it has permeated London culture in ways we didn’t expect. With 2023 marking the Nike Tech Fleece’s 10th anniversary we sat to discuss just how integral it has been to London culture and the youth scene as a whole!

The fashion and car/F1 space has also been thriving and we spoke about the Sacai X Mercedes AMG collab, the Puma X ASAP Rocky lookbook and also the Palace X Alpine collection!

We also discussed some rumoured releases such as the friends and family ‘Concrete Boys’ Air Force 1 debuted by Lil Yatchy and the Fragment x Nike Air Force 1.

Finally, we discuss a recent storm surrounding Jae Tips as he celebrated the success of his first collab with Saucony which also won collaboration of the year.

Today we're discussing developments within the footwear and fashion space as Puma have turned to ASAP Rocky to be the Creative Director of Puma x F1. We also spoke about branding within the sports space and how players like Folarin Balogun and Erling Haaland are being used as totems in a similar manner to David Beckham.

We also spoke about Farfetch's recent acquisition of Yoox Net A Porter and how that was allowed despite it looking like Farfetch attempting to monopolise the Department Store market.

Finally, we concluded with Nike suing New Balance and Skechers with the claims that they are allegedly using Nike's already established flyknit technology to develop some of their silhouettes. As this case is still in it's early phases it will be interesting to see how this develops over time.

Today TheStockroom sat down to discuss one of the juggernauts in the fashion world, Denim Tears Founder, Tremaine Emory! In light of his departure from Supreme he sat down with Touré to explain his reasons for leaving.

Off the back of this we have decided to come together and discuss Tremaine’s interview and whether we agree with his reasoning and the collaboration that underpinned his issues with his colleagues at Supreme.
