Today is a special treat because we get a two for one. Coaches Logan and Lexi Gragg Head Coaches of the Locust Grove Pirates and Lady Pirates join the podcast to talk about how they use their platform as coaches and the impacts that they’re able to have each day with their students and teams.

Coach Miller after taking a 3 year break will be back on the sidelines, but this time it will not be in the maroon and gold. Coach Miller will be coaching at Am-Po next season and we talk about what that transition has been like and how that process played out. Coach Miller also talked about what he believes makes up a team and how the coach fits into that dynamic as well.

Coach Edmonson didn’t learn how to coach basketball 3 years ago after winning a state title as a head coach. Coach Edmonson has had a tremendous amount of success at every stop he’s made, but for many years now he’s been at Dale which has been a pillar of success in their class. Coach Edmonson talks us through the recent success and what he thinks is so unique about this group of kids that he has been coaching the last few years.

Coach Swboni was kind enough to sit down with us and give up some of his valuable time to talk through all of the things he does and share how he leads his program.

Coach Winfield has been a frequent flyer to the state tournament since arriving at Adair 20 years ago. Coach Winfield talks about how that is possible at the same school and the kind of work that goes into building and continuing that kind of tradition at the same school.
