Join us as Coach Jonathon Hurt of Vanoss High School walks us through his journey of life with the game of basketball. Find out how he balances being married to a Division 2 Head Womens Basketball Coach with having a young baby. We’ll share our love of Kelvin Sampson, along with toughness which is a big part of his coaching style, and what it’s like to turn around a program all in this episode.

On this episode we’ll catch up with Coach Justin Williams the Head Girls Basketball Coach for the Crossings Christian Lady Knights and the Co-Host of the brand new podcast “Coach2Coach”. He’ll talk about his athletic background with being a collegiate golfer and how that experience led him to the place he’s at now. We’ll talk about the different places he’s been in his career and how all of those stops led him to coming back home to be at Crossings Christian where he got his start on the boys side fresh out of college.

We sit down with Coach Jenni Holbrook. Coach Holbrook is the Head Coach of the Jones Lady Longhorns. She talks us through her childhood about how she went from being the team manager in JH for her basketball team to a college basketball player. We even hear about the unfortunate passing over her younger sister and the emotions that come with losing a sibling early in life. (Since recording this episode Coach Holbrook has taken a job at SNU as an assistant.)

In this episode Coach Kight will talk to us about his father and how he modeled being a Coach for him to being an Assistant coach and how those two components shaped him into the Coach he is now.
