While we were updating troypodcast.com for this week's episode, I spotted something on Don Cheadle's IMDb that I had missed in all the times I had gone to it previously. I noticed that one of the listings said background dancer in Angela Winbush's "It's The Real Thing" video.

You may know him from his many shows under the For All Nerds umbrella, For All Nerds Show, Castle Black (Game Of Thrones), Safe Negro Pod (Lovecraft Country) and Views From The 616 (MCU). Or you may know him as a member of The Combat Jack Show. 

We discussed what it was like growing up in Houston in the '80s & '90s, how he sharpened his DJ skills at Howard University, writing for television and the multiple podcasts that he's producing. This week, we're discussing one of the most well-rounded entertainers of all time. She started as a child actress in the 1970's on such shows as Good Times and A New Kind Of Family. She then had roles on hit shows such as Diff'rent Strokes and Fame, before starting her musical career as a teen in the 1980's. Since then she's released 11 studio albums and has sold well over 100 million albums worldwide, and has influenced some of the biggest pop stars in the world today.

She continued her acting career in the 90's and 2000's in films like Poetic Justice, Nutty Professor II, the Why Did I Get Married series and For Colored Girls.

We forgot to mention that she comes from one of the most famous families in entertainment.

And if you didn't know, her "first name ain't Baby, it's Janet."
