A few of us still remember them. George Orwell.  A.A. Hodge. C.S. Lewis. T.S. Elliot. G.K. Chesterton. Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn. Francis Schaeffer. Gordon Clark. Herbert Schlossberg. It was a word in season — not inspired prophecy as in Isaiah and Jeremiah.  But, why wouldn’t anybody listen? It turns out, they were right.  Here we summarize the great wisdom of foregone generations of those who saw it coming, and they warned us.
