Jim Kalbach is a noted author, speaker, and instructor in design, customer experience, and strategy. He is currently Chief Evangelist at MURAL, the leading online whiteboard.

Jim is the author of three books: Designing Web Navigation (O’Reilly, 2007), Mapping Experiences (O’Reilly, 2016), and most recently The Jobs To Be Done Playbook (Rosenfeld, 2020). When someone says that their faith "drives everything" in their life, I am intrigued.  This weeks guest Ryan Meador is one of the most genuine, vulnerable and strong people I've met.  He is a tremendous father, husband, trainer and man of faith.  He lets his faith guide him as he navigates a world filled with decisions and people he can help.  There is no doubt that Ryan's purpose is to help and serve others and he does it through his work as an HR Director at a family business, a fitness coach and father and husband.  This is a conversation I will cherish for a while, super authentic and gives me lots of gratitude for Ryan and people like him!

This episode is filled with a story of a man learning work ethic and service to others from his parents (both Chicago Public School teachers) whose desire to tell stories took him from Chicago to Texas and all across the country and back to Chicago to be reunited with his parents 1 week before his mothers untimely passing.  Clement has found a way to blend his passion and proficiency to align his life's purpose'; helping youth tell their stories!

One day I was working at the Virgin Hotel in Chicago and recognized a dude I followed on Instagram (he was a marketing and entrepreneurial mastermind).  I walked up, tapped him on the shoulder, introduced myself and from that moment on we stayed connected and I now refer to him as my personal Tim Ferriss.  Kaivan Dave came to the U.S. as young kid from India and has since encountered and conquered challenge after challenge building a life of commercial, personal and family success.   He has helped companies like RxBar (Director of E-Commerce) grow and build products and has done the same for himself across several of his startups and his Staying Uncomfortable podcast.
