We all need humor, even in the darkest of times. But what happens when are priorities are so misdirected that escaping from personal responsibility overrides our obligation to face our difficulties and make tough decisions. Carole shares a personal experience she had this past week and why finding humor in it was a misguided priority.

The scale of justice makes a mockery of itself when its this out of balance.  Imposing punishment upon only 1/2 the problem leads to continued imbalance, injustice , and continued criminality. Carole identifies when and how the omission happened. Then Carole looks at how we perpetuate fear in ourselves by what we allow into our lives, sometimes from those closest to us.

History does repeat itself be it biblical or secular. President Zelensky pleaded with the U.S Congress and the world this morning to stop the carnage in Ukraine. Today happens to be a religious fast day in Judaism based upon the Book of Esther...when an unlikely leader emerged to ask for carnage and a tragedy to be stopped. The outcome was miraculous. So too, may be the one in Ukraine but its up to those with access to the tools to do so.
