The song, Thinking About Home,  was recorded in the early 80s by the Talleys on their first album on Canaan Records.  The opening line, "A penny for your thoughts, he said to the old man," is often regarded as one of the best opening lines ever, and Debra Talley's unique ability to sing a story made it a fan favorite immediately.
