This is PART 2 of our conversation with Derric Johnson. As a Pastor, musician, and composer, he defines a new standard for dreaming big and has the stories and resume to back it up. As the founder of The Re'Generation, one of the most successful traveling groups in Christian Music history, and over 30 years as a creative consultant with Disney, his insights are fascinating. 

As the interview was drawing to a close, the mics were shut off, and thank-yous exchanged. We asked him one more question about Christmas at Disney. As he began to tell the story, we turned the mics back on, and we think you'll be glad we did.

He is also the consummate encourager who has inspired generations of musicians to dream bigger than they thought possible. That includes Dave and Dusty. Did we mention he’s 92 years old? His unique ability as a storyteller makes this an episode you won’t want to miss.

On Friday, July 26, word began to spread about the horrific plane crash that claimed the lives of seven people, including three members of The Nelons, one of Christian Music's most loved groups. On a more personal level, we lost some of our dearest friends and there are no words to adequately capture the heaviness of these past few days.

Rather than posting our normal scheduled podcast, we decided to just sit down this evening and try to talk through it.
