On Friday, July 26, word began to spread about the horrific plane crash that claimed the lives of seven people, including three members of The Nelons, one of Christian Music's most loved groups. On a more personal level, we lost some of our dearest friends and there are no words to adequately capture the heaviness of these past few days.
Rather than posting our normal scheduled podcast, we decided to just sit down this evening and try to talk through it.
This is that conversation...

To many of us, the Holocaust is something we read about in history books. But the story hits much closer to home for Lily Isaacs, matriarch of the family award-winning bluegrass Southern gospel group, The Isaacs.
Her parents survived the Nazi concentration camps of World War II and came to America as immigrants when she was only two years old. If you wonder how a poor Jewish girl growing up in the Bronx became a born-again Christian and a beloved member of the Grand Ole Opry, this is an episode you don’t want to miss.
Her journey was unlikely. Her faith is unwavering and her story is worth hearing.
