Michael visits Independent Brewing in Bel Air Maryland and Chats with owner and brewmaster Philip Rhudy.  

Michael travels to northern Harford county and talks with Mike Fiore and his grandson Tony about the distilled products they produce and the journey to become a winery-distllery.

On this episode Michael visits with Bert Basignani at the 31 year old Basignani winery. They discuss the history of the winery and the family effort it takes to bring everything together......and have some fresh bread and taste some of the wonderful Basignani wines.

This week Michael is joined by Carlin Cook of the Brewtal Battle Podcast and Josh Rodriguez of Wine World Beer and Spirits. They taste and talk about some select local craft beer new releases.

This week, Michael travels to Carroll County and visits Drew Baker at Old Westminster winery. They talk about the journey of the winery since the family started to think of converting their farm into a vineyard in 2008. They also discuss the future, with the develop of a the new Burnt Hill vineyard, and a new line of products being released.

Michael talks with Braeden Bumpers one of the founders of McClintock Distilling in downtown Frederick Md. and taste some of their hand distilled craft spirits.

We travel to Prince Frederick Maryland, to the beautiful Running Hare Vineyard, and visit with Mike Scarborough owner of the Winery and also the owner of Calvert Brewing. Mike talks about these two endeavors and also speaks candidly about some of legislative issues the Maryland breweries are facing.

We visit Key Brewing Co and talk with proprietor and brewer Mike Mcdonald. As always we give a taste to some of their great craft offerings.

Airy and visit with third generation winemaker, Melissa Aellen.  Linganore Winecellars is the largest winery in Maryland and one of the oldest on the East Coast. Many are familiar with their sweet and fruit wines but today Melissa takes us to the dryer side of Linganore.
