If one is not self-sufficient with love, emotion, generosity, or kindness then it becomes very difficult for one to even empathize with their own self. And, in this competitive world, we're experts in creating unwanted, unwarranted pressures on ourselves. It is, therefore, necessary (and vital) to realise that it is okay to slow down a bit and to allow ourselves to be in the situation that we are in.
