Reid spends some one-on-one time with Lila as the team works to find her stalker, and things come to a dramatic end when the unsub gains access to Lila's house with her and Reid inside. Hello! Sorry we suck and missed a week. We had some ~technical difficulties~ that we explain in the episode. But we're back to chat our way through episode 16 of Criminal Minds, "The Tribe." The team heads to New Mexico after five college students are found murdered and a six student is presumed missing. Their investigation starts at the Apache reservation, but the team quickly realizes the pack of killers more closely resembles a cult.  Plus, ambient dog noises, the tragedy of white colonization of Indigenous lands, and Moneka gives the background on a number of cults mentioned in the episode. Hiya! We're back to chat our way through episode 14 of Criminal Minds, "Riding the Lightning." This emotional episode sees the team head to Florida State Penitentiary to interview a husband-wife duo on death row for the murders of 12 girls and their 2-year-old son. However, while the husband proves to be every bit the sexual psychopath he's diagnosed as, Gideon and the team quickly realize his wife is a different story. The team races against the clock to prove Sarah Jean's innocence before her scheduled time for execution comes, but she has other plans. Plus, Tanner is sick and stuffy and sounds gross, Moneka is a guest star queen, and we talk "In Cold Blood," the death penalty, and whether or not we agree with how the episode ends. We're back, baby! Sorry for the unplanned hiatus -- life's been a little crazy lately! But we've returned to chat our way through the 13th episode of Criminal Minds, "Poison." The team is called to New Jersey after a mass poisoning has left a young boy injured when his father, hallucinating from the drugs, beats him with a tire iron. The BAU has to figure out which type of profile fits this poisoner and who the target is. The poisonings take a turn for the deadly when botulism is introduced, and it turns into a race against the clock to get the affected the anti-poison. The team heads to Delaware after a young girl goes missing — however there was belief she was with her father, so the BAU  is already 20 hours behind the abduction. There's not much in the way of clues, but the team is racing against the clock to get young Billie home safely so they rely on their profile and make a public appeal for tips. Things get tense between the girl's divorced parents, especially as her father deals with serious illness. Plus, Tanner's dog makes sure he is HEARD in this episode, Moneka gives us the full rundown on the show's BAU consultant, and we hear the sad story of Polly Klaas. Howdy! Today we dive into the 10th episode of Criminal Minds and chat our way through "The Popular Kids." The team heads to rural Virginia after a high school boy is killed on a hiking trail and his death leads local police to the skeletal remains of another body. The scene looks Satanic, so the locals call in the big guns to help put the case to rest. As the investigation progresses, it becomes clear to the BAU that the symbolism at the crime scene was likely no more than a diversion, and the unsub is probably a little more familiar to the sheriff than he'd like. Plus, we get real about mental health, there are ambient dog noises, Tanner's brain is working at half speed and Moneka gives us a rundown of her days as an athlete.
