  • Tiktok’s Big Sell-Off: Who’s Really in Control Now?

TikTok’s U.S. future is being rewritten under pressure from Trump’s administration. Oracle, Silver Lake, and Andreessen Horowitz are stepping in to buy up 80% of the platform’s U.S. operations while ByteDance gets pushed down below 20%. Washington is calling this a win for national security, but the question is, security for who? In this deep dive I break down what the deal actually looks like, who is cashing in, and why this is not about protecting you, it is about power and politics.

  • Trump’s Big Chicken Energy Meets the Law: How a Press Room Roast and a Federal Judge Ruined His Day

There are some days when the universe just lines up and hands you poetic justice on a silver platter. Today, it served it up with extra hot sauce for Donald Trump, who managed to get roasted by a reporter and clapped by the courts, all in a single news cycle.

Let’s break down how Trump got hit with a double-whammy of humiliation—first in the press room, and then in federal court. Buckle up.

The “Chicken” Question Heard Round the World

Here’s the setup: CNBC’s Megan Casella is at the White House, and she doesn’t waste her time with softball questions. She straight up asks Trump if he “always chickens out” on his own tariff threats.

Yeah. You heard that right. She called him a chicken, on national TV.

Why? Because there’s a running Wall Street joke—“TACO”—which stands for “Trump Always Chickens Out.” The gist? Trump lobs crazy threats about tariffs, gets everyone panicking, then inevitably backs down and acts like it was all part of the plan. Investors see it, reporters see it, and now Trump had to hear it, out loud.

And if you thought he was going to answer with grace—don’t hold your breath. He called the question “nasty,” rambled on about his supposed “negotiation skills,” and tried to convince everyone that backing down was actually the master move.

Yeah, and I’m a ninja because I avoid the gym.

The Courts Hand Down a Reality Check

But if that wasn’t enough to bruise the world’s most sensitive ego, the judicial branch decided it was time for a real lesson in limits.

On the same day, the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled that Trump had exceeded his authority with his so-called “Liberation Day” tariffs—sweeping import duties slapped on just about everyone with a passport and a trade deal. The court said Trump did not have the right to throw tariffs around like confetti just because he’s in a bad mood. No “national emergency,” no dice.

This wasn’t just a technicality, either. The court said the president doesn’t have “unbounded authority” to mess with global trade—Congress still matters, the law still matters, and yes, small businesses and states have a say when it’s their livelihoods on the line. The order? Stop the tariffs. Stop collecting them. And stop pretending the Oval Office comes with a crown and scepter.

Of course, Trump’s folks are already vowing to appeal. But let’s be real: this is a big, public L for a guy who acts like laws are just “suggestions.”

    Let’s Talk About It

Look, I’m not shocked. I’m a Marine veteran—I’ve seen real leadership, and it’s never about bluffing or bullying your way out of a corner. This entire week was just another reminder: when you act like the rules don’t apply to you, eventually, someone’s going to remind you the hard way.

But what do you think? Is Trump a master negotiator who just plays chicken on purpose, or is he out of his depth and hoping nobody notices the mess?

  • They Sent Kilmar to Die — And Trump Just Told the World He’s Not Done

Today was a turning point. And most of America missed it.

President Trump met with El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele in the Oval Office. That might sound like just another foreign visit—until Trump was caught on a hot mic saying he wants to send American citizens to CECOT, El Salvador’s brutal mega-prison.

“You need to build about five more places.”

    — Donald Trump, caught on tape, referring to prisons for homegrown U.S. citizens

That wasn’t a joke. That wasn’t a slip. That was policy planning.

And the world just kept spinning like everything was fine.

    🔥 This Isn’t About “Criminals”

MAGA defenders will say: “He meant criminals.”

But here’s what they don’t want to admit:

Kilmar—an American citizen with no criminal record—was pulled off the street and deported to El Salvador.

He wasn’t charged. He wasn’t tried.

A court ordered him to be brought home. Trump refused.

    Why?

    Because Kilmar is dead.

He was sent to die. And they knew it.

And now, Trump is expanding the program.

This isn’t “border enforcement.” This is something darker. Much darker.

    ⛓️ What Is CECOT?

CECOT is El Salvador’s massive, high-security prison that human rights groups have described as inhumane and deadly. It’s overcrowded, violent, and lawless. Detainees are often denied legal access and medical care. Torture is common. Trials? Rare.

    It’s not a prison. It’s a punishment chamber.

And now, the President of the United States wants to start shipping American citizens there.

    🧬 If You’re Latino, You’re a Target

Let me be real: If you’re Latino in the U.S. right now, you’re not safe.

Agents are already pulling people with no records off the streets. No charges. No phone calls. No lawyers.

If Trump’s plan expands, people will disappear under the guise of “fighting crime.”

And with CECOT in the picture, we’re talking about state-sponsored exile.

    Modern-day banishment.

    Targeted deportation of citizens.

    All happening right now.

🏴 This Is a Dictatorship in Motion

This isn’t hypothetical. This is happening.

    Trump is:

    * Ignoring court orders

    * Collaborating with authoritarian leaders

    * Sending U.S. citizens to die overseas

    * And silencing anyone who questions it

    Where else does this happen?

    * North Korea

    * Russia

    * Saudi Arabia

    * And now, under Trump… the United States.

He’s not hiding it. He’s broadcasting it. And his supporters?

    They’re cheering. Loudly.

📺 Kilmar Is Dead. That’s Why He’s Not Coming Home.

Trump says he won’t bring Kilmar back. But the truth is:

    He can’t.

    Because Kilmar is gone.

Unless he shows up on national TV holding today’s newspaper and reciting the alphabet, we have to face the reality:

    They sent him to die.

And they’re doing nothing to fix it.

    They wanted him gone.

    And now he is.

    🚨 Where’s the Outrage?

If a Democrat even whispered about doing this, MAGA would lose their damn minds.

    But now? Silence. Shrugs. Applause.

Trump is building five more prisons—for us.

    For dissenters.

    For citizens.

This isn’t the “law and order” party.

This is the party of fear and force.

    They don’t want justice.

    They want control.

    🧨 Final Thought

    We’re not watching policy.

We’re watching a dictatorship being built in real time.

    This isn’t about borders.

    It’s about power.

About erasing the line between citizen and enemy.

    Between law and lawlessness.

And I know I should probably watch what I say…

Because under this regime, speaking out could get you sent away too.

    But I’m saying it anyway.

    Because someone has to.

  • Market Moves, Manipulated Truths

I’m angry. And you should be too.

Because what happened on April 9th wasn’t just some typical Trump headline — it was a blueprint for how power gets abused right in front of our faces… and we barely blink anymore.

Let’s talk about the facts first. On that day, Donald Trump suddenly announced a 90-day pause on most U.S. tariffs, reducing them to 10% for any country that hadn’t retaliated. That alone would’ve been a big deal — we’re talking about major relief for global markets. But then he took it a step further: he raised tariffs on Chinese imports to 125%. Yes, one hundred and twenty-five percent.

This isn’t just economic policy — this is picking favorites and enemies in real time.

And just hours before that announcement, Trump took to Truth Social and posted this little gem:“THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!”

And boom — the markets soared. The S&P 500 jumped 5.6%. The Nasdaq rose over 8% — one of the largest single-day gains since World War II.

If that doesn’t sound suspicious to you, read that again.

Now imagine if anyone else — a CEO, an investor, even a TikTok finance bro — had posted something like that right before a market surge. They’d be investigated for manipulation. They might even get charged. But because it’s Trump? We act like it’s normal.

    It’s not.

And I’m tired of pretending that this kind of reckless, performative, ego-driven leadership is just “politics as usual.” It’s not leadership — it’s opportunism at the expense of everyone who doesn’t have the luxury of insider knowledge or billionaire immunity.

Senate Republicans seemed relieved by the tariff pause. Democrats were quick to point out how erratic the whole move felt — especially paired with that post. And for once, I’m with the Democrats on this. Because it’s not just erratic. It feels deliberate. It feels dangerous.

More than 75 countries are now scrambling to renegotiate with the U.S. over trade terms, while we play economic roulette with international relations. Meanwhile, back home, everyday Americans are trying to figure out why the cost of groceries, electronics, and cars feels like it’s controlled by a mood swing in Washington.

Let’s not forget: tariffs are taxes. You and I pay them — not China, not foreign governments. Us.

So when Trump plays fast and loose with this kind of policy — when he makes cryptic posts that affect markets before major announcements — that’s not just politics. That’s your retirement account. That’s your rent. That’s your future.

And I can’t stay quiet about that.

We’re entering a dangerous era where power is being flaunted so boldly, so casually, that it’s numbing. But we have to stay awake. We have to call this out for what it is: manipulation, corruption, and a direct threat to the economic stability of millions of people.

So yeah, I’m angry. And I hope you are too.

Because if we let this slide now, we’re telling the next person in power that the rules don’t matter anymore — that all it takes is a post and a spin, and they can rewrite the market to fit their narrative.

    We’re better than that.

    Aren’t we?
