I am closing out the year with some fun episodes. I had a great talk with my 6 year old son Micah about his favorite moments from 2020. 

He shared about the good times we had as a family this year and what he enjoyed most from this year.

We do a deep dive into the seasons of our marriage where we had no boundaries for other people and how that hurt us. We also discuss learning how to have boundaries with the opposite sex and what is appropriate. It is a great conversation on healthy boundaries that will help couples maybe see the importance of having boundaries in marriage. 

My wife was not done dropping fire wisdom about how kids can impact marriage and some best practices in growing through it all.

She shares about our roles as mom and dad and how it effects us as husband and wife. We talk about communication in parenting and how to grow in that as well. 

In this episode, my wife and I discuss how our kids have impacted our marriage. We share what we have learned from our 3 kids and how they have made us be better as a married couple and all the challenges as well. 

My wife and I talk about the way that unmet expectations and unrealistic expectations have affected our marriage and others. We look at how social media has also changed people's expectations of their marriage as well. Expectations change throughout marriage and in different seasons, but it causes so much stress when new expectations are not discussed. This is a great and very real episode about expectations. 

Today is our 11 year anniversary and we shared the lessons that we have learned from our 11 years of marriage. 

After 3 months of amazing interviews with black leaders from San Diego and beyond, we are coming to a close. In this episode I share my thoughts on what I learned from all the interviews and their inspirational stories. November will be all about love and marriage as I celebrate 11 years with my wife on November 7th.
