Tony Young is the former San Diego city council president and district 4 councilman. We had a great talk about all that he has learned in his career in politics and he shared about his journey.

Frank Buncom is a 23 year old leader in San Diego that we all need to look out for. He is a Stanford grad and has a passion for health care, family, football and racial equity. I had the honor of speaking with my friend Richie Williams. We graduated from Steele Canyon High School together in 2005 and then SDSU in 2009 and he was a star basketball player at both schools, but in this episode we talk life. Mayor Racquel Vasquez is the 1st black female mayor in the county of San Diego, and I had a great talk with her about her journey.

She is the mayor of Lemon Grove, CA and dropped so much wisdom as she shared her life's journey. I found out that my dad was one of her top advisors and that she also attends the Rock Church. She spoke a lot about the importance of leadership, serving the community and how to rebound from a NO. It was a powerful interview, and I am excited for you to be inspired by Mayor Vasquez.
