When Paul was on the ship in Acts 27 it was one of the worst hurricanes ever. It says that they didn't see sun or moon for days and for all that time they were in that hurricane. If Paul ever needed a miracle he and the men on that ship definitely needed one then.  However, God sent the angel to Paul to give him a word not to lend him a hand. During our storms it’s not always the will of our Father for others to help us out. He won’t always send us a miracle. Sometimes we just have to ride it through by our faith and trust in Him. That's what will bring about the miracle and show us His glory. It’s a lot harder to stand on His word as opposed to receiving the help we want at the time we think need it. WHAT'S THE REAL PURPOSE OF THE STORMS IN OUR LIVES?
As we go through the storms of life there are certain things that we should know. There are certain things that God wants us to know. Yes, our Father wants us to know that we don’t have to be afraid, we don’t have to fear, we don’t have to stress, have anxieties or become hysterical when these life changing storms come up. Whether it’s attacks of the enemy or hurricane forces of trouble in our lives, we must remember that God’s got this. As long as we’re in His will we must always know that we can trust Him to do what’s best for us. However we should also understand that God will not always speak to our storms as Jesus spoke to the winds and waters when the disciples were with Him in the boat. Sometimes we have to weather them just to come through them. But when that occurs, it’s for a reason and a purpose. PUT YOUR FOOT ON HIS NECK OR HE'LL PUT HIS FOOT ON YOURS! PART 3

There are too many who cannot move forth because the enemy keeps attacking and the really sad thing is, that for many, none of his attacks are new or different. He keeps attacking with the same strategies and schemes. Why should he change anything if he knows the old things are still working in our lives against us? Why should he try something new if the old things are still keeping us in bondage? If it’s finances that keeps you bound then he’ll keep using your finances against you. If it’s marital problems then he’ll keep using that against you. It’s time for a change. Generational curses have been destroyed. It’s time to stop allowing the old attacks, tricks and ploys of the enemy to keep working against us and our families in the new seasons of our lives. It’s time for us to move to higher levels with stronger and greater spiritual positions in the body of Christ. But this will only happen when we totally defeat the enemy and put our feet on his neck! Our covenant with God assures us that we don’t have to be afraid. because as we all know, there’s more that’s for us than they that are against us. In Joshua 10 the Lord told Joshua and the people, “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.”  God is saying to us today, that we are not to be afraid of what the enemy is trying to do to us because not one of them will be able to withstand us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that rises against us in judgment we shall condemn for such is the heritage of the servants of God. Don’t be afraid of the enemy and put your foot on his neck. This is not the time for the sons and daughters of God to be on rollercoaster rides going back and forth, up and down between victories and defeats in their battles with the enemy. God has not had me to minister concerning spiritual warfare to this degree in quite some time so apparently He knows that His sons and daughters need to be encouraged, strengthened and uplifted.  God is saying to each of us today as Joshua said to the Israelites, do not be afraid, stand strong and be encouraged!

Last week I was contacted by some of you who listen to the podcast to say that all you received was an advertisement from the buzzsprout server. Unfortunately I was out of town for the entire week and was unable to correct the error from my phone. I'm uploading the same episode this week and it is the final episode for the HARD AND STRANGE FRUIT series. It is not the final episode for This Is the Voice of the Prophet podcast. Please forgive me for any and all misunderstandings. So let's try this again!

As stated in last week's episode, hard and strange fruits cause deep and serious wounds. However, those who have been affected, hurt, and harmed by others with these hard and strange fruits, also have a responsibility. God gives us wisdom so that we will know how to act, move and respond accordingly at the appropriate times. We don’t have to stay in places and situations where people are robbing, misusing, misappropriating or damaging our fruits. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. HARD AND STRANGE FRUIT PART 3
There are those who truly started out in the body of Christ who were pure, innocent and loved the Lord our God with all their heart. We were God’s beautiful brides and lovers as described in the Song of Solomon. But now the church has caused so many to become grotesque and ugly. As young brides the fruits were developing as they should and the people were growing in ways that glorified the Father. But then some preacher, teacher, prophet or leader who had no fruit  or worse yet, had hard and strange fruit, came along and caused such wounds and injuries until now many in the body of Christ have developed spiritual keloids which are actually deformities. HARD AND STRAGE FRUITS PART 2

Fruits are not like the gifts. God gives us  gifts of the Spirit ( apostles, prophets, teachers, miracles, healing, helps, guidance [administrators] and different kinds of tongues) and we know the gifts are without repentance. Once our Father has given us our gifts they’re there to stay. He doesn’t take them back. This is why there are apostles, prophets, preachers, teachers, evangelists, pastors and leaders who continually operate in the gifts but still show no real evidence of the fruits. They operate in these gifts, prophesying to people, laying hands, preaching and teaching God's word but there are absolutely no fruits of the spirit operating from within them. What's with that? There are far too many who run after the gifts of the spirit but are totally oblivious to the fruits of the spirit. It’s so necessary to understand the importance of these virtues in our lives. There are far too many with nothing but fake fruit. Their love is fake, their kindness, gentleness and even their goodness is just a hoax. We’ve heard so many use the phrase to fake it until you make it. However when it comes to the fruits of the spirit there are too many who are just willing to fake it and not even attempt to make it. We’ve heard people call others false prophets because they didn’t receive what was spoken to or over them. Of course we all know that there are those who falsely say things in the name of the Lord and they will stand in judgment for it.
