WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE UP PART 3

After the death of Jerub-Baal, his son by his concubine raised up the people against his half brothers, Gideon’s legitimate sons and had them all killed with the exception of one who was able to escape. That one son, Abimelek called out to the people speaking to them the story of the trees wanting a king. However, according to the story, each tree that was approached, the olive, the fig and the vine each knew their purpose and would not give it up just for the benefit of reigning over others. Basically, the trees knew their places and purpose and stayed in them. Abimelek used this proverb, the story of the trees, to reveal to the people the wrong that was done by this illegitimate brother. He wanted a place and position that he had never been ordained for or called to. And so it is with many in the body of Christ wanting to walk in positions, places and stand in spotlights they’ve never been ordained or called to. WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE UP PART 2

When David went to Araunah to purchase his threshing floor for a sacrifice to the Lord, the Message Bible reads in II Samuel 24:24 But the king said to Araunah, “No. I’ve got to buy it from you for a good price; I’m not going to offer God, my God, sacrifices that are no sacrifice.” So David bought the threshing floor and the ox, paying out fifty shekels of silver. If what we’re giving to our Father isn’t costing us then it’s really not a sacrifice. But didn’t Jesus pay the price? As I once heard someone say years ago, salvation is free but the anointing cost. Jesus paid the price for our salvation but we pay the price for what God wants to do through us. We pay the price for the anointing on our lives. Either we pay the price for the anointing on our lives or we give up that anointing for the satisfaction of the flesh. Each and everyone of us need to realize that we all have a particular purpose in life. It's the anointing that God has placed upon you. But regardless or what or how great that anointing might be, are you willing to give it up. Would you be willing to let it go for something less important, something superficial,  cheap and cut rate? Are you willing to give up what you’re anointed for just to fit in or just to be seen by others? Remember Aretha Franklin's hit song, "You Better Think! You better think whether or not you’re willing to give up what you are uniquely qualified and called for in life just to be seen, just to be popular or just to have a name that everybody knows.                                                   STREGTH IS POWER PART  2

In I Kings 20:11 before Ben Hadad attacked Samaria, he bragged to Ahab as to how he would defeat the Israelite nation. He wanted Ahab and Samaria to be so afraid that they would give up without a fight. But Ahab responded to Ben Hadad saying, “‘One who puts on his armor should not boast like one who takes it off.’”  What God is saying to us is that the end of a battle cannot be determined by what the enemy says even before the battle starts. We, as believers in Christ cannot and we will not allow the voice of the enemy to be more of an influence to us than that of the Holy Ghost when He speaks to us. We must stop listening with our flesh, our hearts and even our own thinking.  We cannot continue to allow spirits of fear to defeat us  without even putting up a fight. If we are in the will of our Father then Satan is nothing more than a two year old with a water gun. We stand on God’s word in II Timothy 1:7, we know, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. We know and understand God's word and we trust Him.  But yet, when the enemy comes to attack, if we’re not careful, our faith and trust in God will be weakened by the spirit of fear that the enemy will send against us. God is sending strength to those who the enemy is trying to send fear to. In spite of all that’s occurring in this nation, in your state and even in your personal life, again, God is saying to you don’t give up, don’t let go and don’t stop believing. Remember Jairus when they told him his little daughter had died. Jesus said to him, don’t be afraid, just believe. THERE IS STILL HOPE!

Remember, strength is not the same as encouragement. Yes, God wants us to be encouraged but while being encouraged we also need to stay strong. We need to be powerful, robust and firm in our stance and resistant to the tactics of the enemy. We cannot listen to his words or be incapacitated by his feeble attacks and attempts to weaken us as evil, mean and wicked as his tricks might be. Remember the words of the Psalmist in the 34th division of Psalms; The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. We fear God and not the tactics, attacks, plots or plans of the enemy. God has His angels encamped around us. In spite of what's occuring in our lives, no matter how hard or discouraging they might be, we must remember that there is still hope! "God Has Turned Your Curses Into Blessings and Your Sadness Into  Joy!" PART 2

What does your enemy, the devil, think when he hears your name? Maybe there was a time that he didn’t think much but I’m here to tell you today that those times have changed and the tables have turned. You have another name that’s attached to your name and that name demands attention, respect and obedience. It commands immediate submission and compliance. Just as the letter that was sent out to all of the people with King Xerxes name and signet attached to it, it commanded that the people do what it said concerning the Jews. The Jews had the name of the king with them. The name that’s attached to your name is that name that’s above every name and yes, it’s attached to you. It’s at the name of Jesus that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord. Every demon and spirit, both in heaven and in hell all submit to His name and again, it’s His name that’s attached to yours. GOD HAS TURNED YOUR CURSES INTO BLESSINGS AND YOUR SADNESS INTO JOY!
 In spite of the hardships that you and your descendants may have experienced God wants us to know that we are blessed. The curse of the law is no longer in effect for my family or yours. So many are missing out on their blessings, education, marriages, careers, buying homes and other opportunities because they don’t know the blessings that our Father has in store for them. Too many believe that because no one else in their family did then neither can they. I know that our Father wants us to know just how blessed we are and that we are not to accept the words of the curses that the enemy tries to speak against us and our families. In a dream that God gave me last week I was in a store full of supplies. Our Father is telling me that He has everything we need for each of us as we go forth. These supplies will be for ministries, our personal lives , families, businesses or whereever supplies for our lives are needed as long as we obey Him with our whole hearts and our whole souls. But first, we must past the test, come through the storms and win the battles through our faith and trust in Him. God is also saying to us that He allowed me to be in this store of unopened supplies to see all of these brand new, unused goods in order for His sons and daughters to know that He has everything we will need for the journeys ahead of us. They’re there waiting for us for when we need them and believe me, there is a lot!
