April 13, 2025MANIPULATION OR SOUND DOCTRINE? WHICH ARE YOU GETTING WHEN IT COMES TO GIVING?Send us a textGod does want us to give. He wants us to give to the poor and the needy. But He does not want us to give reluctantly or under compulsion. When someone tells you that if you give $1000 and you don’t have it to give or for that matter $20.00 and you don’t have it to give then when they tell others that they’re going to be blessed and get an angel that’s telling those who weren’t able to give that God isn’t going to bless them. It’s saying that if you want this great blessing that God is going to be pouring out you have to give that certain amount of money. That’s buying God! It’s literally prostituting Him! When giving to God we must be sure that our motives are pure and that we're giving with a cheerful heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion. When we give it must be with the right motives and the right agendas, not because someone has promised you this new car or new refrigerator or whatever they felt was needed so that someone has to feel compelled to give. Has someone ever been forced to do something for you no matter what it was? Did somebody have to force them to give you or say something to you? Maybe to give you an apology. Maybe someone had to be forced to apologize for something wrong that they did to you. And because they were forced to do it, you knew that it didn’t come from their heart, they didn’t really mean it and therefore you didn’t want it. That’s the way it is when we are compelled and pushed and pushed and pushed to give to God. Under those circumstances it's not from our hearts or given cheerfully and therefore God will not honor your giving. April 07, 2025THEY CAN'T TAKE OUR PRAYERS PART 4Send us a textIn spite of the lies, deceits and total distortions of the truth of the word of God, it has always been the enemy’s attempt, with the full intent to conceal the fact that we as Black people were and are chosen to glorify the Father in ways that no other nation or race can. Is this a racist or prideful statement? Of course not and I would never want anyone to think that it is. But just as the Jews were chosen by God to achieve a particular purpose, I believe it’s the same with each and every nationality and it's not to have power over or enslave others. Even though God allowed these things in some instances that is not the complete purpose of any nationality. However each nationality must be able to identify spiritually what it has been created by God to accomplish. Every angel was not created to be a warring angel. Some are sent for war but others are sent as messengers. This is why when the angel appeared to Daniel he said; But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. Not to be misunderstood, the angel that was sent to Daniel was not weak and obviously could contend with the enemy to a certain extent, but that was not his given assignment. His assignment was as a messenger. There is no other race as spiritual as the Black race and everyone knows it which is another reason that so many other races are afraid of Black people. It’s also the reason that the enemy has done everything in his power to destroy the Black race. Yes we were powerful warriors in the motherland but our true power is within our spirits. March 31, 2025THEY CAN'T TAKE OUR PRAYERS PART 3Send us a textWell with all that's occurring it seems that Pastor Paula White-Cain, for a lack of a better term, is now selling angels. For a one thousand dollar offering she is saying that God will give the giver, for this Passover season, the blessings of Exodus 23. She’s saying that for one thousand dollars God will assign an angel to you along with many other things for this Passover season from April 12th through Friday, April 18th. So does she have more authority and input when it comes to the word of God concerning His angels? According to the Bible that I read it says in Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? Why should anyone have to give her $1000 for an angel? We already have angels watching over us to guide and protect us. What did the Psalmist say in the 91st division of Psalms? For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; But it seems that there are some angels that only Paula knows about and you can only get them if you send her $1000. You see this is why it’s so important that we have a personal prayer life and intimacy with God. This is why we cannot allow anyone or anything, no situation or condition to take our prayers! March 24, 2025THEY CAN'T TAKE OUR PRAYERS PART 2Send us a textOne of the things that my sister and I will talk about from time to time is the memory of that old lady, my mother’s grandmother, going into the bathroom and taking us with her every day at 12 o’clock noon, getting on her knees and praying. We couldn’t have been older than three and five because we were not in school yet but still at home during the day with her watching over us. The funny thing about those prayers that she prayed was that for most of them, we never understood what she was saying but now we both realize that the reason we didn’t understand was because she was praying in tongues. No matter how bad slavery was, no matter how racist and hateful far right conservative whites may be, one thing that they must never be able to do is stop us from praying. They can’t take our prayers. That old lady was spirit filled and everyday she would pray in the spirit. In spite of the man who took her brother and also took her hearing, one thing that he couldn’t take from her was her prayers. She never stopped praying because he couldn’t take her prayers! March 10, 2025THEY CAN'T TAKE OUR PRAYERSSend us a textTHEY CAN'T TAKE OUR PRAYERS! PART 1One of the reasons that so many people in this generation don’t have a problem with this new wave of racism that’s coming about is because they don’t remember and they cannot relate to the last one. They don’t know about the hard times their parents, grandparents and older relatives went through and we’re not telling them. Or if we do, are we telling them in the way we’re supposed to. We’ve been so busy with trying to raise them with good thoughts and happy lives until we don’t tell them about the terrible, horrendous times many had to go through in order for this younger generations to live the lives they're enjoying right now. They don’t know about riding the buses with the signs that read; Colored Only. That meant If you were sitting in a seat and the bus got crowded a white person could pick up one of those signs and place it in the seats behind the Black people and the Blacks in turn had to get up and move behind that sign so that the white people could have a seat. That also meant if the Blacks who had been seated had to stand then that’s just the way it was, they stood for the rest of their ride. Maybe the younger generations have seen pictures of water fountains that read WHITE ONLY but they never experienced a white person daring them to drink out of it. I still remember when looking for jobs in the classified ads there would always be the column for jobs that read WHITE ONLY. It didn’t matter how qualified you were, if you weren’t white don’t even apply. These are some of the reasons why DEI protocals were established. We cannot allow these Jim Crow laws and racist systems to be established again! March 03, 2025WHAT WERE THOSE MARCHES REALLY ABOUT? GOD GIVE US JUSTICE! PART 4Send us a textIt’s as though along the way, through the generations the intentions that God had for His Black sons and daughters had been erased. Satan did his best to totally delete the true, God intended purpose of Black people. It was as though those things were forgotten in much the same way family ties and generational connections had been eradicated through slaves being separated from the mother land of Africa and from their families as slaves. But although teaching the Bible to the slaves and free Black people had an ulterior motive which was to keep them docile while still in bondage, we still learned to pray and pray much. We remembered how to cry out to God in a deep, meaningful and sincere way not just from our mouths but out of our spirits. And even though we had forgotten God, He had never forgotten us. He heard our cries and He answered. And God will answer now as He answered then during the Civil Rights era. The men and women of God, the people who met in the churches during the Civil Rights movements prayed. They may not have had the homiletics or dogma’s but they prayed and prayed much. Never doubt for one minute that when Black people pray together, in agreement and on one accord, God moves! If we want justice, then pray! Pray and pray much! Cry out to the true and living God, not just from our mouths but from our spirits, not so that we can be like others but so that we can all have justice and be equal to all other races. Yes, I agree that we will not shop at the Walmarts, Sam’s, Targets, Aldi’s and many other stores but while we boycott and protest we must also pray and pray much. February 24, 2025WHAT WERE THOSE MARCHES REALLY ABOUT? GOD GIVE US JUSTICE! PART 3Send us a textIn I Samuel 8:5 reads in the Amplified version; And said to him, (this is Israel speaking to Samuel), Behold, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint us a king to rule over us like all the other nations. Israel wanted a king so that they could be like the nations around them. As we all know, Israel was a nation that was second to none but still they wanted to be like the others around them. Unfortunately, this is what has happened to many of the nations, the nationalities, races and ethnic groups here in the United States since integration. We’ve wanted to be not just equal to but also like those around us. That’s not what our forefathers marched for. They didn’t march so that we could be like this one or like that one, they marched so that we could have the same rights as everyone else, so that we could be treated as equals to everyone around us. Our forefathers marched for justice. They marched, were beaten, put in jail, had water hoses turned on them, had dogs to attack them and some were even killed so that we could be equal to every other race and ethnic group. They didn't suffer these atrocities so that we could be like others but rather so that we would be equal to others. And personally, I don’t want to be like anybody but me. February 17, 2025WHAT WERE THOSE MARCHES REALLY ABOUT? GOD GIVE US JUSTICE! PART 2Send us a textWHAT WERE THOSE MARCHES REALLY ABOUT? GOD GIVE US JUSTICE!Our parents, grandparents and even great grandparents of the Civil Rights era would not give up and the time has come that those in this era must join them in saying that they won’t either. We will not stop praying, believing or doing what’s necessary to get the justice we are due and that includes boycotts which means not shopping at the stores or supporting the businesses that have done away with their DEI programs. The men and women of that time prayed! They met in the churches to plan their strategies and began their marches. And those marches always began with prayer. They knew that they weren’t crying out to an unjust god, in fact, just the opposite. They were calling on the true and living God. They were calling on the God of Isaiah 33:22 where Isaiah said the Lord is our judge. They stood on the fact knowing that the Lord is our lawgiver and that the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us so therefore, in this day and age, at this time and slate, we must also be persistent, tenacious and unrelenting in our prayers day and night as those who marched were. The ones who marched and protested during those times knew the difference between those who were wicked, mean and ungodly from the true and living God who they knew would give us the justice that was due in spite of the beatings, arrests, attack dogs, water hoses and all the rest of the cruelties that were being inflicted on them. February 10, 2025WHAT WERE THOSE MARCHES REALLY ABOUT? GOD GIVE US JUSTICE! PART 1Send us a textWHAT WERE THOSE MARCHES REALLY ABOUT? GOD GIVE US JUSTICE! PART 1I know that our Father is hearing the cries of those in this nation who want fairness, impartiality as well as diversity, equity and inclusion. Yes, we want DEI! We want all work places to be diverse, we want equality in the work forces as well as knowing that all races and genders are being included fairly in the policies, opportunities and decisions being made by all corporations, businesses and government in this nation as well as our states. Swiftly and without mercy the enemy is trying to rob all minorities of their rights. But as the Psalmist wrote in the 121st Division of Psalms verses 3-4; He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Let me say here and now that our God does not sleep and He does not slumber. Without a doubt, He sees all of the injustices that are occurring in this nation right now. February 03, 2025WERE YOU INCITED OR TEMPTED? PART 2Send us a text What did Paul say in Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. If we continually walk in the Spirit, pray in the Spirit and live according to how the Holy Spirit leads us, it will not be a matter of us not being tempted, but when the temptations come we will be able to succeed in triumphing over them. David said in 2 Samuel 22:30 For by Thee I have run through a troop; by my God have I leaped over a wall. We can run through the armies and bands that the enemy sends against us and we can leap over whatever he places before us in attempts to impede our progress. No temptations, no fleshly desires or inclinations will stop us from advancing to the highest heights that God has ordained for us to achieve.
