Just like you, I want to change the world and I want to do that by helping people like you do the work that you’re meant to do, to let go of all the things that hold you back and hold you down, and give you the tools to breathe again, try something new, shift your perspective and go out there looking at the world through the eyes of your soul and not your scared human self. It’s OKAY to let go of what’s not working so you can make room for the BETTER things that are coming.

Katie and I have been in and out of each other's worlds for the past three years. I found her at the beginning of my coaching career because of her deep love for women and the feminine energy and her career helping women achieve their goals, from relationships to business to spirituality. I adore this Aussie born woman. She comes from a place of no-judgement, she is filled with love and support and urges her clients to go further than they ever have in order to co-create the life of their dreams. And she is so talented and creative. From holding dinners in a few places in the world, a place for women to come together and network, learn and grow, to producing a show, to coaching international clients. She really is the real deal, and I know you'll love this episode because I do.

I could talk to these two forever! Candice Johnson and Shawn Marshall have become friends of mine over the course of the last year and one thing that I love about them is how much they want to help people live their best life. They are grounded in who they are through some amazing life experience that blows my mind. Candice has survived alot of domestic abuse and is a nurse turned metaphysical empath who heals people in a profoundly spiritual way and Shawn is an entrepreneur who gave up everything to travel to the very spiritual grounds of Peru to learn how to connect to himself in a way that allows for deep transformation with his clients. They have both been through so much in their lives and they truly understand the path to radical change when you're looking for a deeper way to exist.
I love love love this conversation with Katie and Andrew May from the Allegory and Elm podcast. We talk about life and the curveballs that life throws at you and how to be prepared: what the number one thing every entrepreneur needs to have to succeed in times like these. They have managed to overcome death, miscarriage, an affair and broke away from their faith to pursue the unknown and do life on their own terms. We talk about what it takes for them to keep their love and their businesses running, how to be parents amid it all and finding the gratitude and love that acts as the support and foundation for a life well lived. Oooh you're going to love this talk if you are a coach or want to be a coach and you're trying to find clients! Kim Trathen and I are talking how to balance being a mama and a wife and running a successful business, what the best piece of advice Kim every got in running her own business, how to get the sales calls you need to hit your numbers, how she stays grounded and what the hardest thing she has ever had to go through in her life and the exact steps she took to keep fighting the odds and getting back up over and over again. A little about Kim: Kim is an international business and marketing coach who helps female entrepreneurs learn how to get more clients online! She launched her own business while working in corporate and raising her 3 crazy boys with her amazing husband and their 2 huskies. Kim understands what it's like to work around the clock on a business that isn't making money or feel like with every business "win" there is an equal setback in life. But, she persevered and learned exactly how to grow a successful business. Kim is passionate about teaching other women how to scale their businesses and hit their goals!
This episode is about the five burning questions your prospects are asking while you're talking to them about your product and service so why not meet them where they're thinking and give them some certainty about why you're the woman for the job. I give you loads of examples of what to ask to get them to open up about their BIGGEST problem and how to show them you can solve that problem for them. You don't want to miss this talk, even if you're not in sales, because it gives you an edge in your communication skills. xo
Affiliate marketing is the number one thing that Jill and Josh Stanton from Screw the Nine-to-Five wish they would have just done from the beginning of their careers. The thing is, they started doing this, then pivoted, did something else only to find themselves doing affiliate marketing once again. Jill tells us, from experience, what it means to pick one thing, and stay the course until you become a master and and expert and that's when the tide starts to turn. I love that so much, and it gives us confidence as she teaches us about tweaking and trying new things to move our businesses forward, how to shift our mindset so that we make tonnes of room to overcome fear and just do the thing, and lastly, she talks about the next big thing they're working on that you don't want to miss out (for all you folks with a dream and are curious about how to turn your hobbies or your passions into a way to make some extra cash). Super exciting!
Tony Robbins once said “if you want to take the island then burn your boats and you will take the island. Because people when they are going to either die or succeed, they tend to succeed. But most of us give ourselves a way out and that’s why we don’t have what we want.” I started thinking of all the times I said I would “try” or “do my best”. Why not just say "I’m going to figure out what to do and then do those things so that I will achieve what I want?" It’s easier said than done when you’re not used to thinking this way. First you have to think that it’s possible, and there’s no better way to start than to say “I believe I can do anything”, and then follow it up with closing your eyes and doing some deep breathing, holding the visualization of you having achieved your dream.
Born and bred for a life as a professional NBA basketball player, Justin got cancer early on and didn’t make it to the NBA, retired early, lost his family and faced a road of incredible depression that led him to an attempt on his life. When he woke up and realized that he had another shot at this life, he decided to embark on a personal development journey, let go of all his worldly belongings and went on a quest of a lifetime across the country to learn about other people: their lives, what moved them, what shook them, and how to turn inward to find peace and a never ending source of happiness. This high performance coach has come a long way in his journey and it all stems from putting the focus on others and working hard to help people achieve their dreams. Justin truly holds the space for all of his clients, is tough and always gets you to step into your leadership as the hero in your story and teaches us why love is always the answer.
From fixed to growth mindset, we learn how to shift from what we think we know, to what is possible. I give you some really simple, easy steps to shift from a fixed mindset (the thinking that you know what you know and you’re good at only what you’re able to do right now) to a growth mindset (anything is possible with some education, practice, developed skills and perseverance).
