The goal of today’s episode is to help you take your unexpected trials and tragedies and 1) put them in the right perspective, 2) avoid being completely defeated by them, and 3) even thrive in spite of them.
We must know, remember and regularly remind ourselves about unexpected trials and tragedies:
1. We’re not immune to them
2. We’re not defined by them
3. We’re not going to have to endure them forever
4. We’re not alone in them

Jesus said, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12
We’re very excited to introduce you to Joshua Youssef, the CEO of Help The Persecuted. Here is a link to the organization’s website. We hope you will connect with them and perhaps become a part of helping with their critical mission.
