Taylor is an outfielder for the Seattle Mariners. Taylor grew up in Powder Springs/Cobb County, Georgia, and attended Mount Paran Christian School. He was the 35th player taken in the 2016 MLB draft (Cincinnati Reds). During his senior year in high school, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution called Taylor the best two-sport athlete in the state of Georgia. During his senior year in high school, in football, he rushed for 2,500 yards and a county scoring record 38 touchdowns. Taylor and his wife Emani were married in January 2022. As great of an athlete as Taylor is, he is a better man, living to make a difference in the world.
