Eleanor Gaccetta is a Colorado native who grew up in a small farming community outside the City of Denver. During the early years of her career she received both Bachelor and Master’s Degrees from Regis University. She worked for the State of Colorado for 31 years serving her last seven years as a legislative analyst for the Departments of Human Services and Medicaid. After leaving State employment she worked as a policy analyst for the City and County of Broomfield and then returned to the State as a private contractor.

She retired after nearly 40 years in the public sector when her mother fell and broke a hip at age 93. She provided full time 24/7 caregiving until her mother’s death at age 102.

She currently lives in Arvada, a suburb west of Denver and enjoys the outdoors, gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

About the Author
I was born on March 21, 1956 in Warsaw, Indiana where I live today. I began writing science fiction stories around a half a century ago. I was inspired by science fiction TV programs and books that I read. I even wrote plays while in fourth grade.

I began writing science fiction books to practice writing long stories when I was in eighth grade. When I was in college at Southwest Missouri State University, which is now Missouri State University, I wrote a story which was read on the college radio station.

After I moved to New York State in 1977, I began writing letters that were read on the air on the radio station in Peekskill WHUD. The program was "Sound Off". Over 100 parts of my letters were read on the program. I later began doing radio features about science fiction in 1979 and ended the program in 1982. I began doing a cable TV program about future technology and ideas in 1985 and produced my last program in 2012.

I have written letters to the editor since 1974 and have continued to write them in Warsaw, Indiana. Over 300 of them have been published since 2013. I have two other books that have been published. They are "The Belt" which takes place in the Kuyper Belt around 340 years in the future and "Tales From Newgate" which takes place in a city founded by people from another dimension in the Adirondacks. I have two unpublished books on disk entitled "The Adventures of Mr. Amazing" about a superhero from another dimension and "The Mission To Worlds Beyond" about missionaries being sent to other dimensions. I may try to have them published in the future.
