North Carolina’s trip to Blackburg to face Virginia Tech never lacks for excitement on the baseball diamond and this past weekend’s event added to the lore that is Tar Heel/Hokie baseball these days. Sunday’s win moved the Heels into fifth place in the league standings and closer the the important double bye in the ACC Tournament. Head coach Scott Forbes discussed the series, the chaos that ensured at the end of Saturday’s game and the importance of staying focused and getting a big series win on the road with Inside Carolina’s Grace Nugent and Tommy Ashley on Monday morning.
