How does cutting the Police Department's budget solve racism?  Is this how we thank them for protecting us during the riots?  How about taking out the Mayor's protective detail and take him out of his bubble?

Racism or Police Brutality?  One is a matter of perception, how we perceive and relate to each other while the other as a matter or training and policy which is far more practical to solve.

All this, starts at home.

We are barely coming out of the Covid attack and here they go again.   Did people just go crazy for being cooped up indoors for months?  Or is it simply their nature to riot, vandalize and loot?

TV talking heads and politicians keep debating on whether it is a good idea to open up the economy.  Who should make the call, what businesses are to be permitted and so forth.  Keep in mind all these people are getting paid to talk even when they are at home.  None of these people care about our families.  They can careless about the bills that we have to pay.  At the end of it all, we have to decide and do what we got to do to survive.

Seems like Californians have a great tolerance for corruption, abusive taxes, vagrants defecating and shooting up drugs on the streets, criminals just being let loose, but take away their beaches and you got yourself an instant protest!

Lessons Learned in Lockdown:  Budget

Not everyone has the luxury of making residual income or working from home.  For those of us who still have to go out and work to make a living, we have to find other ways to ease the burden and one of the lessons learned in this lockdown is how important a budget is so that we could have a "Buffer" and an "Emergency money"  especially for times like this.

Lessons Learned in Lockdown: Homeschooling

All of a sudden all children are now homeschooled even the college students.  It isn't that bad right?  

There are a lot of misconceptions about homeschooling and perhaps one good thing out of this lockdown is that people would get to see that it is not how it is portrayed in mainstream media.
