NBA players voluntarily took a 24 shot clock violation as a salute to Kobe's death.  People wore their number 24 jerseys and headed to Staple Center to gather and mourn his death as a community.

Kobe's death reminds us to appreciate every moment of our 24 hours, for we'll never know when our shot clock is up.

You get a notification that your paycheck has been deposited. Then you notice the  pile of bills on the table while your children are reminding you of school tuition and all you can think of is that pair of boots you have been eyeing on.  Who do you pay first?

Forget about the dead rising back to life,  dealing with the living dead is much more frustrating!

Drug addiction and mental illness  are just political issues until it hits closer to home.   How do you deal with an addict when they become a menace to the community?  Police do not and can not help, that's for sure.  We actually have laws that prevent authorities from forcing these people to seek medical help. So what are we left with?
