Lessons Learned in Lockdown:  Budget

Not everyone has the luxury of making residual income or working from home.  For those of us who still have to go out and work to make a living, we have to find other ways to ease the burden and one of the lessons learned in this lockdown is how important a budget is so that we could have a "Buffer" and an "Emergency money"  especially for times like this.

Lessons Learned in Lockdown: Homeschooling

All of a sudden all children are now homeschooled even the college students.  It isn't that bad right?

There are a lot of misconceptions about homeschooling and perhaps one good thing out of this lockdown is that people would get to see that it is not how it is portrayed in mainstream media.

It is a slippery slope when we start giving up our civil liberties.  Is it not the whole point of having a constitution, is to have a guiding principle when the lines get blurry and things get tough. Is safety more important than freedom?

As we all go through this ordeal with Covid-19, people are questioning our 45th President's encouragement to open up the Economy and let people start working again.  They are saying that he is dismissing the safety of the people.  I for one am torn.  As much as I'd like to keep myself and my family safe,  I am worried that my shortened work hours would be enough to sustain my family.

All this overload of information on the virus is stressful.  The topic just keeps on injecting itself into our everyday living.  The continues hit on our economy is becoming more scary than the actual virus.   Now it's the anxiety that is sweeping the nation.

Have you stocked up on your basic needs?  Is this the zombie apocalypse we used to joke about? I pray  we all meet on the other side of this, healthy and whole.

People should go to church for god, not for the man at the pulpit or the show on stage nor the ceremonies right?  That may be so, but it sure helps if the one on stage is entertaining or at the very least, interesting.

Thinking about it is the same as wishing for it.  Everything starts from thought, the only problem is, very few of us actually watch what we think.  Just be glad that there is a buffer between thoughts and it's manifestation.  Just imagine the thoughts that pop in our heads.

How import are titles to you?  May it be a professional one or any title for that matter?  Is simply calling you by name not enough?
