July 22, 2023 KIND a Summer Fair Adventure! (Part 2) - Seshisode 113
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we are joined by Tyler and we are finishing out explaining our Kind experience.
This sesh we smoked a couple new things that came to the shop on our last order. A new infused pre roll by Carmel, who we saw at the Kind summer fair. We sipped on some Mollo 10 beer flavoured beverages. Near the end of the sesh we break out a new kind of Mollo 10 as well. Their new Cider. which was not from the Kind summer fair, but in our last delivery.
While we work through our Kind goodies. Let us finish the tour of the Kind summer fair. In part one we told you about the layout, how the consumption area worked, what it was like to run into some of the industries top produces, who then took a few moments to let us pick their brains and smoked with us.
In this sesh we pick up where we left off. Talking about the longevity of producers who limit their production vs those that over produced in attempt to gain a foothold on the market. Where they are now and who is coming out on top.
We never would have thought a story worthy experience would include a bathroom in a speakeasy at summer fair but it did. That's right we also give you a run down of the Kind summer fair. It's ok we make fun.
To wrap it all up we sent Anna on a "Where's Waldo" style hunt at the No Future booth. It may have stemmed from Tyler and I being grown children. Or it could have been the extensive list of pre rolls, concentrates and edibles we indulged during the kind summer fair. Either way Anna got us back for our antics and well we all had a great time.
Stick around until the end of the sesh that's when we do an accurate count of all the mini sesh's we had throughout the day. Start to finish was 14 hours of steady and consistent ingestion.
To clarify we count out all of what we sesh'd with. Then we break it down to how many concentrates and how many joints we had. Tyler and I both agreed we did it right this year. Everything we smoked was a great blend to the environment. Sticking with sativas for the majority of the day and adding in a couple indica's near the end. This allowed us to keep the energy up and a smile on our faces while staying talkative fun and social.

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. We went to the KIND summer fair! it was awsome!
By we I mean Tyler from the shop and myself of course. Tyler was previously on Seshisode 99. For those who think he might look familiar.
Through work we were lucky enough to get a couple tickets for day one. So this sesh we are recapping the adventure that was our journey to KIND.
The day was amazing. It was one long smoke sesh, a stoner christmas if you will. There was way too much consumption going on through out the day to list it here. We do a pretty good job of rattling everything off during the sesh. Which means you're gonna get a pretty good list of enjoyable day time smoke you can enjoy in large groups.
As we work our way through the sack of free samples we each got. We'll take you on a guided tour of what to expect when attending a cannabis fair. Peppering in a few stories about the goings on and the people we met.
Potheads are definitely the most accepting and inclusive groups of fun havers I've ever been around. So being able to sample a bunch of new strains, try some existing but "new to me" strains and share the experience with such a large group of strangers, was amazing.
You might say it rekindled my faith in humanity a little bit. Like the best of the best sesh circles, this one's got all the giggles.

This week on Seshisode 110 - Phobias, Heightened Senses and Driving while High! I'm smoking... Mystery weed! That's right. I emptied out my stash jar. The only thing I can tell you is, it is no less than 24% Thc. Most likely a Hybrid or Indica and it literally tastes like a greenhouse smells.
The first time I smoked weed I knew my senses would be heightened, but I didn't realize I would be able to see my heart beat in my shirt.

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem podcast I'm talking about being a cannabis infused parent on Seshisode 108 - Parenting, Cannabis and a Smoke Buddy!
Starting the show with a bong hit of Nugz Smallz Indica Pheno number 23. It was about 23% thc. I also rolled up a few pre rolls of the same. Why? because I am working through my stash jar and these few nugs needed a good smoking.
Like I was saying, this week I'm taking on the topic of cannabis infused parenting. A lot of people have a poor view of those who partake in cannabis and raise children. Since my whole existence, at this point, revolves around weed, the very least I can do is pass along some of the things I've noticed and learned in my parenting journey.
I stick to the adage that it's better to be honest then hide things from people. So I am very open and honest with my kids when discussing anything. I also try my best to preserve their innocence. However their life circumstances have give them incite into things that kids might not be exposed to on a regular basis. So again I have had to be very available in the topics I am willing to discuss with them. I do my best to protect them and offer them some insight into how the world really works. It's a fine line I tell ya.
Since we're discussing the things most important to us. I thought it would be a good lead in to the weed facts this week. Which are about cannabis and your pets. We care deeply about our pets, after all they are family. So we want to care for them the best way we can. This has lead people to see if cannabis can help their furry family members, as it dose our not so furry ones.
No matter what you decide to do with your pets, I want to make it clear that, in no way am I telling you, you should give your pets cannabis products. We are just discussing an article that discussed some research findings under controlled testing with animals and the ingesting of THC and CBD. I recommend that you discuss any thoughts you have with your vet.
Having said that, I thought this article was a good starting point with some basic starting information about giving your pet cannabis products.

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm smoking Gorilla Berry by Green Seal, a 27% THC indica in the bong. The pre roll is Jungle Cake by MTL cannabis, a 29% THC sativa.
I got a couple negative comments attacking my channel and of course my happy time, fun time. So something had to be done. Also I get petty so I responded to their comments and surprisingly never heard back.
Then I ranted about it on the podcast and got a little fired up. What can I say?
Because these two meat heads decided to attack me I decided, retaliation was the only way. This sesh I decided to blow off some steam and let them have it. So I did my research and found out what these dudes were all about.
You'll also have to excuse the spelling mistakes in my responses to them. That's right, I got petty enough to post their comments and my response during the sesh. Just keep in mind I had just gotten home, smoked a joint and was checking the numbers on a few videos, when bam! It be came door knob comment time. My responses absolutely had an altered of capability. I think I got them good though. Hopefully these stories also provide you some entertainment.

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Seshisode 107 - Death by Nets Pot, Canabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome and a 25 ft Wave of Molasses, we're taking a walk through my morbid sense of humour.
As if we don't have enough to worry about with covid, heart disease, cancer and all the other ailments that might lead to our demise. We also have to worry about some every day actions that may take us out. Sure pop machines could fall on us if we get a little to aggressive when our purchase gets stuck. Laughter doesn't always prove to be the best medicine. Constipation could be more deadly than just being blocked up, grumpy and uncomfortable. Especially if you pour really baring down when dropping off your daily deposit. Before you use that neti pot you better be sure it's not a vessel for a brain eating amoeba. Now that the global AI game is ramping up. We also need to take heed of past interactions with robots or at least the types of machinery controlled by them. The last thing you want is to be turned in to human soup when they rise up and try to take over their constrictive creators.
As a special mention I also found quite the tale of Molasses in Boston, the devastation a syrupy goo can unleash on a city is amazing to me. So stick around until the end when we discuss a 25ft wave of molasses that did it's best to take over a city.
Since we are talking about weird and seemingly avoidable ways to die. I thought it would be a good idea to have a look at CHS, Canabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome in this weeks weed facts. It affects a small amount of marijuana users and is primarily noticed in long term daily use consumers. However it seems to becoming more prevalent as weed becomes more acceptable and accessible. If you're feeling any of the symptoms mentioned in this sesh it would definitely be in your best interest to give your doctor a shout.
This sesh Was a good time. A few fun facts, a couple of the wall stories and few more ways to find paranoia in the world we live. Like we need more ways to freak out right? Well this week that's what we're doing. Adding a little humour to the paranoia so that it doesn't seem all that over whelming.

This week on Thoughts off the Stem I'm ranting about TikTok, Mental health and Role Models. As a girl dad I feel like they are getting the short end of the stick and we as a society need to step our game up.
To start the show/rant I'm smoking Cookie Cake by Green Seal a 33.8% Sativa. To follow up and mellow out a t bit after blowing a ton of hot air. I'm smoking a home roll of Sour and Citrus from General Admission, another Sativa at 24%. So basically all the energy in this sesh.
Now like I was saying... This sesh is a rant. I'm spouting off on a few beliefs I have. As well as some hopes and observations i have for, and made of, this next generation. I had an experience on TikTok that urked me so much it got me thinking about the state of role models. Especially for my daughters. As much as I think girls need better role models in the media. We all need to be better role models for those who succeed us.
There is and has been a clear issue with logic and common sense on mass in the past few years. If we keep heading in this direction we are definitely going to end up like the movie Idiocracy.
We are acting like idiots. Honestly when has it ever been acceptable to have a conversation with some one while taking off your plants! Then taking that video and putting it on the internet for attention. Seriously this isn't regular.

April 28, 2023 Weird Things People Stuck up their Butts, Concentrates and a Yocan Pillar Review! - Seshisode 105
On this episode of Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm smoking concentrates. Starting the show off with a couple hits of Sour Green Mango Live Rosin, by EarthWolf Farms. It's a Sativa and comes in at 59% THC. Mid sesh I got a hankering for Wagners Blue Lime Pie Diamonds. It's a Hybrid coming in at 82% THC and it amped me up. Not only am I reviewing these wonderful concentrates, but I also took some time to Review some accessories including, the L'il Dipper dab straw and the Yocan Pillar. It's all the flavour and all the highs in easy to use compact smoking accessories.

A special shout out to Msiku Frozen Lemon Shatter, which I didn't get to try this sesh, but thought I should mention as I had mentioned it in the show. It's definitely worth the try. It's a Sativa, coming in at 84.1% THC, full of flavour and one of the more social highs I have experienced. Especially in a concentrate.

People never cease to amaze me. As high as I get off concentrates I can confirm there has never been a time when my reality has been altered enough to pose the question... Hey! I wonder if this fish bowl will fit up my butthole?

That was not the case for the feature of this Seshisode. In fact it's quite the opposite. The people featured in this sesh, posed similar questions then followed through with some action. Unfortunately for them those actions led them strait into the emergency room then on to the X-ray lab and most likely laid out on an operating table in order to reclaim the objects logged in their holiest of holies. Of course I have many questions about the thought process that proceeds the activities that lead to such insertions. Join me as we discuss the weirdest things people have stuck up their butts!

Since we are talking about things reclaimed from human suitcases. I thought it would be fitting that we discuss how to reclaim previously used concentrates. The removal of small bits of debris for future use is always exciting even if it is a little messy. Retrieving concentrate reclaim, however, is way more worth while than trying to pry a beer bottle out of a butthole with a wire hanger. So, in this weeks Weed Facts I'm giving you a brief over view of what reclaim is and Nine steps to removing reclaim from your concentrate accessories.

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm talking about Florida man. With a little weed facts interlude about Bubble Hash. Starting the smoke sesh off with a bong hit packed with Cuban Linx from Tribal at 27% Thc. It's mixed with a 15% CBG flower by Penekia. In the joint this week I have the same mix of Cuban Linx and CBG flower mixed with a nice little bubble has snake running down the centre.
This sesh is dedicated to the weirdest Florida Man snippets I could find around the internet. In the past few episodes I had been exploring weird laws from around the world. During that research I found an abundance of laws that pertained to Florida and the many different ways people have interacted with local wild life. So light something up because some of these people are truly out to lunch when it comes to operating in society.
Since I added a little bubble hash to my roll this week, I thought I would give you a little run down of how bubble hash made and how it differs from other forms of the concentrate. I also thought it fit nicely since last week I discussed Temple balls. If you enjoy a nice hash high or just want to know more about it, this weeks weed facts should help you out.
