In this episode, I interview Katie Barbaro. Katie is an author, illustrator, actor, standup comedian, and pediatric occupational therapist in her spare time. As she puts it, after an earth-shattering breakup and developing a full-blown eating disorder. She began her journey to achieve deeper alignment in her life. She talks about her battle with an eating disorder and how she incorporated her journey into her standup routine and worked tirelessly in her acting. After a time when she thought that her eating disorder was under control, it returned, causing her to redirect her attention to her mental and spiritual health. Katie then took some time to travel using it to gain a deeper insight into who she was as a human spirit. She believes that everyone is creative and that we’re all on a journey to letting our creative spirits shine through the distortions of growing up in a confusing world. Her illustrated and handwritten memoir about her journey of recovering from disordered eating and finding my true self is called “Fed Up: An Illustrated Guide to Food Freedom.” and is available now.

In this episode, I interview Ben Winter. Ben is the author of "What to Expect when Having Expectations" and several other books, a Speaker, Actor, Improvist, Entrepreneur, Traveler, Father, and the list is still growing. Ben talked about his early days of traveling to some of the world's most exotic places and how traveling shaped his mindset. He recalled the situation that started him on his journey of personal growth, becoming a pilot, marriage, fatherhood, divorce and becoming an entrepreneur. His biggest passion is exploring the mind. In all his growth work, the one constant was that it all stems from the mind. He has also performed improv for over ten years, an actor in several plays, even a movie. Ben saw a correlation between personal growth and his work on stage doing improv. He discovered that the core place that a person becomes hurt is from our expectations. Ben developed a flow chart that guides you through the process of dealing with your expectation in a way to obtain peace of mind.

In this episode, I interviewed an incredible woman Erin McCullough. Erin was overcome with anxiety to the point where she stayed in her home for about a year. This team met at London Bridge Fitness First, where James was working as a Personal trainer. As life happens, they parted company but stayed in touch, and after over 10 years.
