You never really know why a stranger comes into your life. Was it fate? Destiny? Or just coincidence? Whatever the reason, the universe has worked its magic to bring my guest, Jodie Morton, into my world—and now into yours.
In 2017, Jodie faced the devastating loss of her grandmother to suicide. To turn this tragedy into something meaningful, she started Green Gold and Blues, a project aimed at raising awareness about mental health.
Jodie set out on an incredible journey, riding the entire Bicentennial National Trail in Australia—a 1,500-mile trek from Cooktown to Healesville. She continued her journey in the United States, riding a portion of the Continental Divide Trail, which stretches from Mexico to Canada. Along the way, she encountered the kindness of strangers and found the strength to escape a traumatic relationship.
