There was a time when I thought dreaming big was the same as having big faith. I believed that if I trusted God enough, He would make the boldest, most extraordinary dreams come true. And sometimes, He did.
But what happens when the dreams don’t look the way we imagined? When we achieve them and feel a quiet what now? When the things we thought would mean everything turn out to be just… normal life?
In this episode of Threshold, I’m reflecting on my lifelong relationship with ambition, how my dreams have shifted over time, and why I no longer believe that the size of the dream is what matters.
Maybe dreaming isn’t about chasing something big, but about learning to follow the Spirit—even when the dream is small, quiet, or completely different from what we expected.
In this episode, I talk about:✨ Why some dreams lose their sparkle once we achieve them✨ The tension between ambition and trust in God✨ How dreaming with God is about who we follow, not just what we chase✨ The quiet, small dreams that are just as sacred as the big ones
If you’ve ever wrestled with your dreams—wondering if you should push harder, change direction, or simply let go—this episode is for you.
