Do not let any one deceive you. That was Paul's third request of the Thessalonians and it is the Spirit request for us today.

In this podcast we begin to look at the requests that Paul gives to the Thessalonians as in regard to Christ's coming. These requests are for us today as well.

The essence of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is that He is coming to bring us to Himself.

This is Paul's prayer for the persecuted church in Thessalonica. That they would be worthy of the calling, that their desire for goodness would be fulfilled and that they faith would be seen in power.

When Jesus comes, He will receive glory and praise from His people. We will praise Him because we believed the testimony about Him.

The destruction of the unbeliever will be eternal. Their place for eternity will be without the presence of God and the glory of His power.

The justice of God upon those who do not know God and do not believe the Gospel. God will see that justice is done to those who afflict His people.

In verse five Paul tells us that the indications of God's judgment of righteousness is the perseverance and faith of the Thessalonians
