In this verse Paul urges the church to do four things. They are warn the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak and be patient with everyone.

The Apostle Paul tells the Thessalonians how to treat those who are in leadership positions.

We will live together with Him. These are words of encouragement and edification from Paul.

We are not destine to the wrath of God.

As believers we must stay sober. In other words we must maintain the right perception of life. That is what being sober is. Paul tells us that we have a breastplate of faith and love and a helmet of hope that will help us keep a right perception.

We are of light so we should be seeing the things that are happening around us. Especially the coming of the Lord.

Paul teaches that the unbelievers will be shocked but the believers will be expecting it.

Paul teaches us about when Jesus will return.

Paul continues to teach about the return of Jesus and what happens to the church.

Paul begins teaching about the return of Jesus.
