Everything is lawful but not everything is productive or edifying There a sins that keep people from being unproductive and built up. Paul mentions four in this chapter.

When we sacrifice to God as Israel did, we share with God. If you sacrifice to idols, you share with demons.

Paul tells us that the glory of God flow through the line of authority. Man was created first and then woman was created as a companion and helper for man.

Flee idolatry! Idolatry was the most prevalent sin in Corinth. Paul tells the Corinthian believers that as they drink from the cup of our Lord they are sharing His blood. As they eat of the bread they are sharing with one another.

Paul again tells us that what happened to Israel is for our example and instruction. We should learn from what happened to Israel. God is faithful to not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can stand. He gives us the way out. The question is do we want the way out?

Paul mentions four things that are evil cravings or desires. They are idolatry, immorality, testing God and grumbling.

Why was God displeased with the Israel? Paul tells us that the thing that displeased God was their evil craving or desire. Where is you heart set?

The Israelites had a great experience with God. They saw Him do miracles. They ate of His spiritual food and drink. Yet, they did not please God.

Our lives are a race. As believers we run for a prize that is imperishable We need control of self and bodily disciple to win.

In this devotional we see Paul's passion to reach the lost. Paul said, “I will do all things for the sake of the Gospel."
