Synopsis of the Episode

My hope is when it's all said and done that there is a collective consensus that agrees that moving forward from the difficult couple of years, that we all experience involves zero tolerance from anything from belief systems to the system at large, that disturbs our peace and takes away from the preciousness of living life fully.  

I know in the pass it was normal to separate our lives but I see the shift happening now of us shifting to interconnecting our whole being from the way we work, create, play, serve and rest.

No longer separate entities where one part suffers so another part can thrive…giving up one for the other!

My hope is we continues to change for our betterment and so much so that when history looks back on this time, all that we have endured and survived will not have been all in vain!  

As a woman whose purpose is to encourage other women I want to speak from our perspective…

The Weight of our Weight was a series that I started earlier this year when I became increasingly concerned about the toxicity of diet culture and body positivity particularly for ambitious women who want to shift their professional careers to the entrepreneurial space where they need to be forward facing.

I don't want women already underutilize in stale positions to remain stuck because they are waiting to see some magic number on the scale that suppose to make them feel good enough to take the next best step in their careers.

The two interviews that I was able to complete are the beginning of what I hope is a new message, mindset shift and call to action as we enter the New Year with with a fresh set of eyes, that sees the magnificence of our beauty, gifts and opportunities awaiting us when we let go of everything weighing us down.

About the guest Jeni Hall:

Jeni Hall is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association.® It was her own health issues that led her to study nutrition. The fact that she grew up eating what’s known as the Standard America Diet (aka, “SAD”) led her to have blood sugar issues. She understands, first-hand, the struggles with sugar.

As she began her nutritional work with clients, she noticed that many were in the same boat. She started a small group in which everyone went through a sugar detox together, guided by each other’s support and her expertise. It was an instant success and thus The RESTART® Program was born.
