In this episode Joshua Erickson, author of Sincerely, Singleness, joins us to discuss what God taught him leading up to writing is book, and how as a church, we need to be encouraging people who are single. He shares from his personal experience how important it is to prioritize what God's plan is for us more than anything else we desire.
Don't worry, this podcast isn't going anywhere. I've been feeling so blessed lately by private messages and episode downloads. I want you all to know I appreciate you, and look forward to continue this journey with you. I felt like it would be a good time to share a little bit about myself and what God has been doing in my life. I'm blessed by each and every single one of you, and I pray I can continue producing valuable content that God can use to work in people's lives.
I'm privileged to have Mike Loney on this episode to share about how Christ turned his life around after 2 marriages built on earthly foundations fell apart as the result of alcohol abuse. Even after growing up in a Christian home while professing to know Christ, it was when he found himself in the lowest of lows and had nowhere to turn but to Christ. From there he grew in his faith, overcame his addiction, and strenthened his marriage. Mike's testiomony is an incredible story of deliverance and God's grace.
Steph shares of her travels and how she has found it to be beneficial to her as a person. She speaks of the joy she has of where God has here and the potential of any direction he may take her in life.
Sie Gregory discusses how he had surrendered his desire for a future relationship and differentiates how in the past he had attempted to do so but didn't entirely give it over to God. Interestingly he has a newfound interest he has getting to know and he is seeking council from his dad about being a spiritual leader as a young Christian man, and keeping Christ first and foremost in everything.
Destiny Kimani from The Guest Room Podcast joins us for an episode to share of what God has been teaching her in singleness regarding living intentionally, and surrounding yourself with supportive friends.
Jodi Fisher from The Guest Room Podast joins us today to share about how being single doesn't mean you're not "there yet" or that you're not any less valuable than any person in a relationship. While she has so much to share about singleness, she has so much value to share about trusting God in a newfound relationship after a long season of being single. No matter what season you're in, it's so important to be intentional with the people around you in whatever season they're in.
Currently working as a Doula in Lancaster, PA, Faith talks about the struggles she has encountered in the past and what brought her to a place of joy and comfort she has found in the Lord.
Jimmy shares the struggle he faced after high school of trying to find fulfillment in drugs, and how God woke him up from that. Whether you're trying to fill that hole with drugs or relationships, God is the only one who can fill it. He is enough.

Being single isn't easy. Finding joy in it isn't either. It's easy to feel like you've been left behind, or overlooked. Speaking from experience, singleness is one of the most difficult, yet…
