On the night of November 5th, it all happened so quickly. I wasn't terrified like before, but this time, I was baffled by the audacity of misogyny and the irritating disrespect still being prioritized in America in the year of two thousand and twenty-five. Yet, amidst all the emotions, there she was—my sister, Queen Ameenah, aka Cupcake—ready to listen and articulate the positions we should assume as Black women. No rookie to the game of community activism and leadership, the transformative speaker planted her feet in her stance and passionately echoed that in this season, under this new but familiar administration, women, specifically Black women, need to reaffirm themselves. And I'm so glad to share this audio with you today.
