We spoke about Jake Davidson (Plymouth Massacre Terrorist) who took the lives of five innocent people before killing himself. We also touch on the death of 20-month-year-old Asiah Kudi, who was abandoned for six days whilst her Mum went partying.

This episode contains themes of student life, creativity, vulnerability and practising mindfulness. We had the pleasure of being joined but Aaron (@thoughtsbyaaron) who gave us a great insight into how these topics affect his daily life and how they can be empowering simultaneously. Aaron, Divya and Aman go on to further discuss in-depth and they each share their own experiences where they find similarities and differences between their university lifestyles, creative outlets and relationships with friends. Now, we always tend to highlight the negative aspects of our culture- but for this very special episode we discussed everything we adore about it. We discussed our biggest inspirations, favourite Punjabi words, best foods and even touched on our lit af parties as well as many other topics!  Stay tuned for a mini quiz at the end of the episode; where Aman and Divya battle it out to see who knows the most about South Asian countries.

Punjabi singer AP Dhillon has caused controversy yet again by choosing a white girl to be in his new music video and the brown girls are going crazy! Topics such as representation, white privilege and understanding why some brown girls are very pressed about this are explored.

Episode 49 shows Karina as the sole host and she discusses some juicy topics within the Indian Culture. After many experiences- we have all talked about how we have faced more discrimination from those of our own race than those who are not and it was time to discuss why and how this happens. Nothing ever seems to change in our culture and the same old discriminatory practices are being passed down through generations and it's time to put an end to it.
