Are women too ambitious, do we really have to let go of our warm and caring persona to enter those top jobs or politics? Women in positions of seniority, will usually take on board women's priorities and make them count. There is data out there to demonstrate that women fight for women, which I’m sure we all get, but why do we have to rely on a woman to fight our corner?

What's GDP, childcare and politics got to do with anything!

Of course, it’s not just childcare that affects women’s paid employment, elder care and it’s demands on women’s time is also a factor and is set to rise. Between 2013 and 2050, the global population aged sixty or over is projected to more than double. Yes double!

Women’s health is simply misdiagnosed…why? Does my body offend you … again we ask why? Let’s talk about heart attacks that actually affect 607,000 of the U.K. population, how does that relate to women? Well more than half of the cases 308,000 are women! Did you know male and females heart attack symptoms can present differently? And… Why don’t the drugs work?

Women are more likely to die in a car crash as car design is based on the male body, Fact! Tech startups are backed by venture capitalists who are men! Fact! Women are not adequately represented in drug trials and given that our bodies are so different, drugs are only promoted if they work for men! Fact! Even the drug studies use male mice! Fact!

Why can’t women be more like men? This statement seems to resonate a lot when we look at the world we live in! Why are items designed around the average male! Why are females not recognised as being different?

Let’s talk about some issues that have been around for awhile, with fresh eyes. Modern day slavery! Violence, sexual harassment!

Here’s a fact for you …Healthcare workers are subjected to more acts of violence than police officers and prison guards - yes really.… we did not believe it until we had read it… Let’s begin now that we have your attention!
