We’re back for another Women of the Word episode!!

 As they study Deborah, Emily & Shea take a deep dive into the history of Judges in the bible. Through the story of Deborah, Shea encourages listeners that God is always working with intentionality and faithfulness. She reminds us that a simple ‘Yes’ is all God needs to equip us to do the job at hand, because God qualifies those He calls.

Shea’s takeaways from Deborah:

• God is sovereign. He is a perfect God with perfect timing. 

• God hears His people and He answers. 

• God’s plan is always better. 

• God doesn’t exclude anyone. He uses those who say yes and have a willing heart.  

• God fights for His people. 

• God always gets the glory. 

• You are called. 

• Do all the things for one Name. 

Deborah’s life wasn’t about her. It was used to make God known and reveal His glory. Deborah shows us that we all have a part in His plan, and we have a choice to be obedient.
