  • Throwdown Ep. 62 - Too Xtreme for the West
The biggest news story this week is the controversy surrounding Koei Tecmo’s decision to not release Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 in the West due to the backlash the game would get. Since that’s the case, we decided to make this our featured topic. Does Koei Tecmo have a point when it comes to the reception it will receive in the West, or is this a cover they’re using to gain media attention?
Our second main topic is about the second year anniversaries of the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. We break down how each system has fared since their respective launches, and what their futures are looking like.
We bring back Pop Culture news this week to discuss the recently released trailer for Captain America: Civil War. We give our opinions on the trailer itself and discuss what we expect and hope to see in the film and talk about how the film will shape the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.
This episode features: Tony Polanco (host), Emilio Lopez, Brian Munjoma, Chris Sealy, and Michael A.

  • Throwdown Ep. 61 - Blacklisted

The two publishers have taken these actions due to Kotaku leaking stories on Fallout 4 and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Other topics discussed:
*Rooster Teeth makes fun of Gerstman for giving Fallout 4 a low score
*Forza 6 has microtransactions despite devs saying the game would never have them
    *Does the PS4 have a PS2 emulator?
*Valkyria Chronicles returns with an HD remaster and sequel
This episode features: Tony Polanco (host), Emilio Lopez, Chris Sealy, Brian Munjoma, and special guests, Alex Nuss and Michael A.

Here are all of the questions we answer this week:
*Why did the Xbox 360 come in last place when it dominated sales in North America (the "most important region")?
*Why is it so hard to believe that some people genuinely don't see a reason to own a certain console?
*Why is there an obsession with digital game sales all of a sudden?
*Once and for all, on which system did Destiny sell more: PS4 or Xbox One?
*Could there be sequels for: Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Equilibrium, Reign of Fire, Commando, and Heat?
*Why isn't the FGC represented like MLG in eSports even though it started competitive gaming?
*How many Blu-ray movies do you own?
*Why do people say that PC gaming isn't expensive?
*Why do people believe that Call of Duty doesn't deserve high scores but a game like Fallout 4 does?
*Does Call of Duty need to take a year's hiatus or should it go away completely?
*Are there any gaming or movie fan theories you personally enjoyed?
*For gaming, should Kickstarter revamp their assessment policies or should they start a gaming-only backing system?
*Will Rise of the Tomb Raider sell better than expected due to the negative press Fallout 4 has been getting?

*What part of Fallout 4 satisfied those who took the day off from PornHub?
*What is your favorite video game soundtrack?
*What are your top 5 favorite video game consoles of all time?
*Since most first party games don't sell as well as third-party games during the holiday, isn't it better to release these games at another time where they will sell better?

*What is your most anticipated VR game?
