It almost felt like it had to be this way, a season of grinding out every win comes up just short as Mississippi State drops a tough 60-59 decision to Pitt in the NCAA Tournament. Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk discuss where it went wrong for the Bulldogs on Tuesday night, but the future remains bright after Chris Jans' first season in Starkville.

Two basketball teams will hit the floor with the same goal tonight in Dayton, Ohio, but Mississippi State and Pitt could not be more different in how they will attempt to win the game. Mississippi State takes on Pittsburgh in a matchup of two very different teams, both looking for a win to extend their run in the NCAA Tournament. Brian Hadad talks with Alan Saunders of Pittsburgh Sports Now to get an inside look at this Panthers team and what they'll bring to the First Four game in Dayton.

March Madness will be wrapped in maroon and white, as both the men's and women's basketball teams will be making appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk discuss the brackets, the matchups, and who can make a real run to the second weekend, then switch gears to a big weekend for the Diamond Dawgs, who got a much needed sweep.

Mississippi State did everything its in power to make Thursday's game with Florida more difficult than it should have been, but in the end, the Bulldogs got the win they needed and should be safely in the field for the NCAA Tournament. Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk take a look at what that victory means for Chris Jans and his team, then talk football and a huge first commitment for Zach Arnett.

Thursday provides another opportunity for Mississippi State to embellish their resume for the NCAA Tournament, and it may well be their final chance. Is it win and you're in for the Bulldogs? Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk have the preview as Chris Jans leads his men into the SEC Tournament and a rematch with Florida.
